There are 65 Anemoculi to collect in Mondstadt’s open world. They are split across Starfell Valley (14), Galesong Hill (13), Windwail Highlands (18), and Brightcrown Mountains (20). A separate 66th Anemoculus is awarded during the Archon Quest Sparks Amongst the Pages, so you should not look for a 66th map marker. See the complete Anemoculus reference.
Use the checklist below with the HoYoLAB Teyvat Interactive Map. The in-game map does not automatically track which collectibles you have taken, so mark each location manually.

All Anemoculi are fixed collectibles: they do not respawn, appear in the overworld rather than inside chests, and can be offered only to Mondstadt’s Statues of The Seven. The Nameless Island contains one of the 65 overworld collectibles; it is not the location of the extra 66th Anemoculus.
Starfell Valley: 14 Anemoculi
- Under a cliff near Anemo Slimes.
- In mid-air near Starfall Lake, southeast of Stormbearer Mountains.
- Under a tree near the eastern mountain tower.
- Down the northeastern coastline cliffside.
- On a small stone pillar south of the Whispering Woods.
- Between trees along the road toward Mondstadt.
- Under a tree branch southeast of Mondstadt.
- On a ruin wall southwest of the Thousand Winds Temple.
- On the border of the Thousand Winds Temple area.
- Under the southern drop of Starsnatch Cliff.
- On the Nameless Island east of Mondstadt.
- In mid-air between the islands north of Mondstadt.
- North of Mondstadt and northwest of Cider Lake.

- On top of the rock near the Statue of The Seven.

- Behind the ancient log archway. Access requires resolving the Sword Cemetery barrier.

How to find a nearby Anemoculus in-game
When you approach an uncollected Anemoculus, Genshin Impact displays its icon on the minimap and plays a sound effect. The icon does not guarantee that the collectible is at ground level: it may be above or below you. Check tree branches, rooftops, cliffs, pillars, caves, ruins, and the space beneath overhangs before leaving the area.

How to use the Anemoculus Resonance Stone
The Resonance Stone is useful for the final few collectibles, but it does not reveal an exact location immediately.
Unlock and craft it
- Reach Mondstadt Reputation Level 2 to obtain Instructions: Anemoculus Resonance Stone.
- Open Inventory → Precious Items and use the instructions. The blueprint must be used before the item becomes craftable.
- Craft it at any Alchemy crafting station using Dandelion Seed ×5, Cecilia ×5, Crystal Chunk ×1, and Mora ×500.

Use the stone
- Equip it through Inventory → Gadgets, or assign it through the Gadget Quickswap menu. On PC, the default keys are B for Inventory and Z for Gadget Quickswap, unless you changed your controls.
- Activate it while in Mondstadt. If it detects an uncollected Anemoculus nearby, it marks a general area on the world map with a blue circle.
- Enter the circle and follow the white directional arrow, which indicates whether the Anemoculus is above or below you.
- Search the surrounding vertical space, then collect the Anemoculus and mark it on your checklist.
Each stone that successfully detects an Anemoculus is consumed, so craft another for a later search. If nothing is detected, the stone is not consumed. It may also remain unconsumed when you are already extremely close to an Anemoculus. A blue search circle can remain after collection if another uncollected Anemoculus is still inside it.

The gadget cannot locate Anemoculi in another player’s world during co-op. A stone from the wrong region can be activated but is not consumed. Reference pages also describe different cooldown values: item data lists 300 seconds after a successful detection and five seconds after no detection, while gameplay notes list a general 120-second cooldown. Treat the cooldown as conditional rather than relying on one universal number.

Before making offerings, complete the required world quest The Blessings of The Seven. Then interact with a Mondstadt Statue of The Seven and select Worship Statue to open the offering screen. The first offering at the Windrise Statue advances the quest and raises the statue by one level.
All 65 overworld Anemoculi are required to raise Mondstadt’s statue from Level 1 to Level 10. The final level costs 15 Anemoculi. Completing the collection leaves one Anemoculus in your inventory because the separate quest reward brings the overall total to 66.
Mondstadt Statue of The Seven rewards
- 90 Primogems
- 90 Anemo Sigils
- 2,160 Adventure EXP
- 70 additional Max Stamina
The stamina gained here is part of the statue’s level-based rewards. As of Version 5.0, Statues of The Seven of any element can contribute stamina until the global maximum of 240 Max Stamina; Mondstadt’s Anemoculi are still used specifically for Mondstadt’s statue levels. Why your count may seem wrong
- You have 66 total but only 65 map markers: this is correct. The extra one is the Sparks Amongst the Pages quest reward.
- The Nameless Island is missing: it is one of the 65 overworld locations and must be tracked like the others.
- The minimap marker is nearby but invisible: search vertically. The collectible may be on a roof, tree, pillar, cliff, underwater surface, or above an overhang.
- The interactive map says you are finished: verify that all 65 markers were manually checked and that the correct region and Anemoculus category are enabled.
- The resonance stone finds nothing: confirm that you are in Mondstadt, have not already collected the nearby target, and are not searching in another player’s world.

- Check off 14 locations in Starfell Valley.
- Check off 13 locations in Galesong Hill.
- Check off 18 locations in Windwail Highlands.
- Check off 20 locations in Brightcrown Mountains.
- Confirm the total is 65 overworld Anemoculi.
- Offer them through a Mondstadt Statue of The Seven.
- Keep the separate quest-reward Anemoculus as the 66th item in your inventory.
