There are 87 Banandium Gems in Donkey Kong Bananza’s Freezer Layer, spread across four sub-layers: SL500 has gems 1–39, SL501 has 40–75, SL502 has 76–86, and SL503 has 87. Use the numbered route below to find them by checkpoint and landmark. Gems 62–75 are post-credit rehearsal rewards; that activity requires clearing the credits and collecting at least 350 Banandium Gems.
How Freezer Layer Banandium Gems work
Banandium Gems may be buried in walls or ground, or awarded for completing ruins challenges. Collecting them increases Skill Points, which can improve health or power and unlock skills, according to Nintendo’s official Donkey Kong Bananza page. The numbered locations below follow Nintendo Life’s Freezer Layer guide.
