Fruit Plants in Grow a Garden means every crop with the game’s Fruit trait—not only foods that are fruits in everyday language. The current community-maintained Fruit Type Crops index contains 95 entries, including surprising crops such as Carrot, Corn, Eggplant, Pumpkin, Tomato, and Zucchini.

This is a dated reference checked against the available crop index and event information on August 10, 2026. Availability, shop rotation, pack odds, prices, and event systems can change after an update. Use the live client and the official Grow a Garden Discord for the latest confirmation.

Quick answer: use the in-game Garden Guide to confirm whether a crop has the Fruit trait. The 95-crop list below is the broadest current category reference, but it includes crops that are shop-stocked, merchant-sold, pack-exclusive, event-limited, promotional, legacy, or currently lacking a verified public acquisition route.

The list is based primarily on the current Fruit Type Crops category index. It is a community database count rather than an official Roblox-published total. The official game listing is available on Roblox.

What counts as a Fruit Plant?

Fruit is an internal gameplay classification. It is not a botanical definition and does not necessarily match what players would call a fruit. A crop can also have other traits—such as Berry, Tropical, Woody, Summer, or Sweet—at the same time.

That is why the Fruit category can include:

  • Carrot
  • Corn and Violet Corn
  • Eggplant
  • Pumpkin, Mini Pumpkin, and Jack O Lantern
  • Tomato and Grand Tomato
  • Zucchini

The reliable test is the crop’s type in the Garden Guide or its current crop data, not its appearance, name, or real-world classification. A real-world fruit may not count for a Fruit request, while a carrot or pumpkin may count.

All 95 Fruit Plants

The table is alphabetized for lookup. Source and availability are separate concepts: a crop may remain in the Fruit category even when its seed has left a shop, its event has ended, or its only known route is trading. Shop and merchant pools are also randomized, so a crop being in a pool does not mean it will appear in every server.

The supplied sources do not provide a stable, verified rarity value for every one of these 95 entries. Rather than inventing values that may be outdated, the rarity column directs you to the live Garden Guide. Once you know the crop’s rarity, use the Beanstalk scale below to calculate its points.

Why do some newer lists say 93? The current category index includes Grape Droplet and Honey Hollow, while the large 93-item comparison used for acquisition cross-checking omits them. Both are included here because they appear in the current category. Their acquisition routes are marked unverified rather than guessed.

Fruit rarity and Beanstalk points

When the Beanstalk submission event is active, the commonly documented point scale is based on the crop’s rarity:

Rarity Points per submitted crop
Common 1
Uncommon 2
Rare 3
Legendary 4
Mythical 5
Divine 6
Prismatic 7
Transcendent 8

This is the documented scale from the Beanstalk event guide. Treat it as the event rule only when the current event UI agrees, because event mechanics and crop data can change. A crop’s points are not determined by the word Fruit alone; first check its current rarity in the Garden Guide.

How to get Fruit seeds

1. Sam’s Seed Shop

The current crop index lists these Fruit crops in the ordinary Seed Shop or its documented shop pool: Carrot, Strawberry, Blueberry, Tomato, Corn, Watermelon, Pumpkin, Apple, Coconut, Dragon Fruit, Mango, Grape, Sugar Apple, and Elder Strawberry. Documented Sheckle prices include:

Grape 850,000
Sugar Apple 25,000,000
Elder Strawberry 70,000,000

These are documented Sheckle prices from the current crop index, not guaranteed permanent prices. Robux prices have differed between databases and versions, so do not combine a Robux figure from one guide with a Sheckle figure from another without checking the live shop.

Cocomango is reported through Daily Deals, not as ordinary always-available Seed Shop stock. If you do not see it in Sam’s normal inventory, check Daily Deals instead.

2. Summer Seed Merchant

The Summer Seed Merchant is a separate source from Sam’s Seed Shop. The current crop navigation identifies Green Apple, Avocado, Banana, Pineapple, Kiwi, Prickly Pear, Loquat, and Feijoa as Summer Merchant crops. Merchant inventory and availability should be checked in the live game.

3. Seed packs

Fruit crops have also been associated with the following packs:

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.
Pack Documented Fruit crops
Normal Seed Pack Raspberry, Peach
Gardener Seed Pack Ackee, Blue Raspberry

Nutty Chest Hazelnut
Season 4 Seed Pack Boreal Orange, Mini Pumpkin
Gourmet Seed Pack Crown Melon, Grand Tomato
Safari Seed Pack Amberfruit Shrub, Java Banana
Spooky Seeds shop or pack Chicken Feed, Jack O Lantern, Poison Apple, Blood Orange

This pack mapping is cross-checked against the Gameboost Fruit Plants guide and the community crop index. Pack percentages are not listed here as permanent facts: odds can change with a patch, and an old guide’s percentage may describe a previous version.

4. Event shops and special merchants

  • Blood Moon Shop: Blood Banana and Moon Melon.
  • Twilight Shop: Celestiberry and Moon Mango.
  • Honey Shop: Hive Fruit and Nectarine.
  • Fall Market or Fall Festival: Carnival Pumpkin, Golden Peach, Meyer Lemon, and Fall Berry.
  • Safari Shop: Baobab.
  • Fairy Event: Pixie Faern.
  • New Year’s Shop: Sparkle Slice.
  • Summer Shop: Traveler’s Fruit.
  • Digging Event: Zombie Fruit and Zucchini.
  • Santa’s Surprise Present: Holly Berry.

These are event or special-system routes, not promises that each event is active now. Use the label limited/event return unknown until the live client or an official announcement confirms a current return.

5. Trading, rewards, crafting, and promotions

  • Trader rewards: Pomegranate and, in some versions or systems, Wild Pineapple.
  • Garden Ascension: Mangrove.
  • Cooking or Rat Connoisseur systems: Bitter Melon and Pricklefruit.
  • Crafting: Guanabana, Lingonberry, and Willowberry.
  • PhatMojo promotional codes: Hexberry and Yellow Core.
  • Legacy Robux purchase behavior: Lemon.

A historical route does not necessarily remain active. For a crop marked no verified public source, the responsible conclusion is that the current sources do not document a normal route—not that the crop is permanently impossible to obtain. Do not spend money on an account or third-party offer merely because a guide calls a seed unavailable.

How to confirm the Fruit trait in the Garden Guide

The Garden Guide is the safest way to check a crop because it uses the game’s own plant information rather than visual assumptions.

75 Vegetable & Greens Seeds Variety Pack, Garden Seed Starter Kit - Over 44,700 Non-GMO Heirloom Seeds for Planting Vegetables and Greens, Seed Box with Gardening Supplies, Gardening Gifts
  • 7-in-1 Gardening Starter Kit includes 75 non-GMO heirloom vegetable and greens seed packs for planting outdoor and indoor gardens. 1. Equip Garden Guide from your hotbar.
  2. Left-click or tap while holding it.
  3. Open Plants or Plants Index.
  4. Search for the crop by name where the current interface supports search, or browse to it.
  5. Select the crop and inspect its listed type, discovery information, sale data, and other available details.

Undiscovered entries may appear shadowed or marked with a question mark. Published guides differ on whether every client version has a dedicated trait filter, so this guide does not promise a specific filter button. Search the Plants index where supported, then inspect the crop’s details.

More information about the feature is available in the Garden Guide walkthrough and the Garden Guide reference.

How to submit Fruit crops to the Beanstalk

When the Beanstalk submission event is active and Jack requests Fruit, he checks the crop’s in-game type. A crop that looks like a fruit is not enough, and a carrot or pumpkin can qualify if the game tags it as Fruit.

  1. Plant and grow an eligible Fruit crop.
  2. Harvest the produce. Hold the harvested item—not the seed.
  3. Walk to Jack’s submission station.
  4. Choose Feed this to the beanstalk.
  5. If you want to submit every matching item in your inventory, use Feed all my plants to the beanstalk.
  6. Confirm that Jack accepts the crop and that the contribution meter increases.

Use the individual option first when testing an unfamiliar crop. It is easier to identify a rejected item than to diagnose a bulk submission after multiple crops disappear.

Beanstalk target and milestones

The published Beanstalk guide documents a 900-point growth requirement. After the tree reaches its target, players can climb it, collect rewards, and access the upper area and shop, including Goliath’s Goods.

Current event-database information reports that portal access unlocks after contributing to Beanstalk growth six times, while ten completed growth cycles award the Bean Fence cosmetic. Another older guide reports seven contributions for portal access. Because those sources conflict, follow the live contribution counter and current event UI rather than treating six or seven as an immutable rule. The fully grown tree also has a limited reward window before its cycle resets.

For event controls and the 900-point description, see Beebom’s Beanstalk guide. For the newer milestone cross-check, see GAG Pro’s event reference.

Best Fruit crops for different goals

Best beginner Fruit crops

  • Strawberry: the cheapest commonly associated Seed Shop option and an easy way to begin building Fruit stock.
  • Blueberry: inexpensive, practical for early progression, and useful when you need repeated harvests.
  • Tomato: affordable and convenient for recurring harvests or routine category submissions.
  • Apple: an accessible tree crop that can remain useful beyond the earliest stage.

There is no universal best Fruit crop. The right choice depends on whether you need the lowest cost, rapid regrowth, sale value, a rare collection entry, or Beanstalk points.

Best crops for ordinary Beanstalk submissions

Use cheap, commonly stocked Fruit crops when the objective is simply to satisfy a Fruit request. Strawberry, Blueberry, Tomato, Apple, and other available repeat-harvest crops are generally safer sacrifices than expensive or hard-to-replace entries.

High-rarity crops yield more points per item, but feeding a rare Sugar Apple, Elder Strawberry, Trinity Fruit, or another valuable collection crop can be poor value if the same request can be met with a cheaper crop. Keep a reserve before submitting, especially if the event may request another category next.

Best repeat-harvest strategy

Multi-harvest plants regrow after harvesting. Do not shovel a productive plant unless you intentionally want to replace it. If you need multiple Beanstalk submissions, growing a repeat-harvest crop gives you more opportunities than sacrificing a one-time seed.

Sprinklers can improve growth speed and, depending on the gear and current mechanics, may affect fruit size or mutation chances. For mutation or size farming, harvest existing produce before beginning a growth cycle when your selected strategy requires the plant to regrow.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Best multi-purpose crops

Mango, Coconut, Pineapple, Dragon Fruit, Grape, and similar crops may be useful when several possible category requests overlap. However, do not assume that every tree is Fruit or that every berry qualifies. Open the crop’s Garden Guide entry and verify its complete trait list before planting or submitting it.

Protecting valuable crops

  • Keep rare plants favorited until you are ready to submit them.
  • Remember that a favorited crop may be blocked from selling, harvesting, or NPC hand-in. Unfavorite it only when you intentionally want to use it.
  • Use a private server or another protected play environment when farming valuable crops if theft or interference is a concern.
  • Submit harvested produce rather than shoveling a valuable multi-harvest plant.

Growth, sprinkler, and favorite-lock mechanics can change. For additional mechanics context, see PC Gamer’s growth guide, the favorite-lock walkthrough, and the community mechanics reference.

Fruit crops with no normal verified source

The following entries are reported in current comparisons as having no ordinary method listed, or are specifically marked unverified in the broader category cross-check: Canary Melon, Cherry, Chocolate Coconut, Egg Melon, Evo Apple, Evo Blueberry, Evo Pumpkin, Faestar, Grape Droplet, Honey Dew, Honey Hollow, Lime, Mahogany, Mandrone Berry, Pecan, Trinity Fruit, and White Mulberry, among others whose historical routes may have expired.

That label means no verified public source was found in the supplied current comparison. It does not establish permanent unobtainability, nor does it prove that an item is admin-only or testing-only. Some may return through an event, remain tradeable, or have a source that the community index has not yet documented.

Troubleshooting

Jack will not accept my crop

  1. Open the Garden Guide and confirm that the crop’s listed type is Fruit.
  2. Check that Jack is currently requesting Fruit rather than another category.
  3. Make sure you are holding harvested produce, not the seed.
  4. Unfavorite the item if it is locked.
  5. Use the individual Feed this to the beanstalk option before bulk submission.
  6. Confirm that the Beanstalk event and submission window are active.
  7. Rejoin or switch servers if the event interface appears stuck.
  8. Check the official Discord for a current bug report or event change.

The crop is listed, but I cannot get its seed

The crop may be event-exclusive, removed from the normal stock pool, tied to a discontinued pack, retained as a legacy collection entry, restricted to a special reward system, or obtainable only through trading. Check the exact label in the table and verify the live vendor or event. Do not assume that a category listing means a seed is currently sold.

A guide says Seed Shop, but I never see the crop

The guide may mean a merchant, Daily Deals, a randomized shop pool, a historical shop location, or a Robux purchase path rather than Sheckle stock. Check the exact system: Sam’s Seed Shop, Daily Deals, Summer Seed Merchant, Twilight Shop, Goliath’s Goods, Honey Shop, a seed pack, crafting, a quest, or an event reward.

Why does a real fruit not count?

Because the game uses an internal trait system. Everyday language and botany are not the event’s test. Verify the crop in the Garden Guide instead of judging it by its name or appearance.

How this list compares with older guides

Older coverage can still be useful for event instructions, but it should not be treated as the definitive current encyclopedia:

  • BlueStacks focuses on Beanstalk submissions and rarity points. It is useful for the event context but covers an earlier, narrower subset and includes time-sensitive availability claims. See its Fruit Plant list.
  • Gameboost has one of the largest acquisition tables and includes packs, events, crafting, promotions, and legacy routes. However, it reports 93 crops instead of the current category’s 95 and does not always separate ordinary Seed Shop stock from Daily Deals or merchants. See its Fruit Plants guide.
  • Droid Gamers gives a clear older Beanstalk explanation, but its September 2025 list is much shorter and uses terminology that does not always match current entries, such as generic Mulberry versus White Mulberry. See its older list.
  • GAG Pro offers a convenient searchable interface, but its displayed Fruit results are much smaller than the current 95-entry category. Treat it as a secondary lookup tool.
  • Fandom’s category and crop pages provide the broadest current category and source navigation, but they are community-maintained and individual availability notes can lag behind live changes. Cross-check them with the client and official Discord.

Update and availability policy

This article is a dated snapshot checked on August 10, 2026. The category count, shop inventory, Sheckle prices, Robux prices, pack odds, event schedules, vendor names, and contribution milestones can change after patches. The indexed update history records releases through June 27, 2026, but does not by itself establish a complete official patch history through this article’s check date; consult the live game and official announcements for later changes.

For the most reliable verification:

  1. Open the live Roblox game.
  2. Inspect the current shop, merchant, pack, or event interface.
  3. Use the Garden Guide to confirm the crop’s Fruit trait and rarity.
  4. Check the official Discord for announcements, returns, and bug reports.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are Carrot, Corn, Pumpkin, Tomato, and Zucchini really Fruit Plants?

Yes, they appear in the game’s Fruit-type category. Grow a Garden uses an internal gameplay trait, not botanical or everyday definitions. Confirm any crop through the Garden Guide.

Can I submit a Fruit seed to Jack during the Beanstalk event?

No. Grow and harvest the crop, then hold the harvested produce when you choose Feed this to the beanstalk. A seed is not the same submission item.

How many Beanstalk points does a Fruit crop give?

Points depend on rarity: Common 1, Uncommon 2, Rare 3, Legendary 4, Mythical 5, Divine 6, Prismatic 7, and Transcendent 8 in the commonly documented scale. Check the current event UI because mechanics can change.

Why does one guide list 93 Fruit Plants while this guide lists 95?

The current Fruit Type Crops category includes Grape Droplet and Honey Hollow, which are missing from the 93-item acquisition comparison. Their category membership is included here, but their current sources are marked unverified.

What should I do if a listed Fruit crop has no way to obtain it?

Treat it as having no verified public source, not automatically as permanently unobtainable. It may be legacy, event-limited, tradeable, or awaiting a documented source. Check the live game and official Discord, and avoid buying accounts or unverified third-party offers.

The Bottom Line

Bottom line: Fruit Plants are defined by the in-game Fruit trait, and the current community category contains 95 entries. For ordinary play, start with Strawberry, Blueberry, Tomato, or Apple; use cheap repeat-harvest crops for routine Beanstalk submissions; and preserve expensive or event-limited plants unless you specifically need their rarity points. Confirm the trait, rarity, vendor, and event status in the Garden Guide and live client before spending or submitting anything valuable.
