Allowance Tokens permanently increase your daily gold allowance, generally by two per token. Find them in exploration rewards, puzzle boxes, and repeatable activities; collect one-time rewards as soon as they appear because some can be missed permanently.
Spoiler warning: This guide names mid- and late-game rooms, puzzle rewards, and upgrade effects.
What Allowance Tokens do
The game’s glossary defines an allowance as “A set amount of gold granted at the beginning of each day.” The wiki says that, when your allowance is above zero, a packet appears on the Entrance Hall table at the start of the day and grants coins equal to your current allowance when collected. It does not appear mid-day. If you leave the packet on the table, however, you can collect the higher amount later that day if your allowance increases in the meantime. Source: Blue Prince Wiki

Collect one-time rewards promptly
Some one-time tokens can be permanently missed if their reward appears and you leave it uncollected. Prioritize collecting visible rewards from puzzle boxes and exploration rooms rather than assuming they will remain available. No definitive total token count is established by the cited location lists, and the Vault lists specifically disagree.
