Anime Zero’s current third-party trait guides list 18 weapon traits, ranging from direct damage and critical-hit bonuses to health, movement, and resource gains. To enchant a weapon, visit Matilda the Enchanter in the Traits area and use a Trait Reroll. The best trait depends on what you want that particular weapon to do; no single option suits every build.
How many traits are in Anime Zero?
The guides list 18 weapon traits, each with a displayed roll chance and a different combination of bonuses. The table below reproduces the figures reported by Beebom and Bloxodes on October 9, 2026. These are guide-reported in-game values, not independently confirmed against an official game reference, and may change with updates.

The displayed percentages add up to 100.01%, a small difference consistent with rounding the individual chances. Treat them as the figures shown in those guides rather than recalculated or guaranteed odds. A 0.01% displayed chance is exceptionally rare; it does not promise that a trait will appear after any particular number of rerolls.

Which Anime Zero trait is best?
There is no universally best trait in the reported list. Choose by the role you want the selected weapon to serve, and compare the trait’s actual bonuses with that goal. Beebom describes Supernova and Deadeye as among the best, but that is an editorial assessment, not an official ranking or the result of an independently documented test.

A useful way to narrow the list is to decide which outcome matters most before you spend a reroll. Are you trying to improve general combat, emphasize critical hits, collect more resources, stay alive, or improve one specific stat? A trait with several relevant bonuses may suit a broad goal, while a focused trait may be a better match when you care about just one listed effect. The guides do not provide testing that proves a particular combination performs best in every situation.
For broad combat bonuses
Supernova bundles damage, cooldown reduction, attack speed, and walk speed. Ferocity also combines several combat stats, with a lower listed damage bonus but substantial attack-speed and movement bonuses. Hunter offers smaller increases across damage, cooldown reduction, attack speed, and movement. These combinations are useful starting points if you value several listed combat stats rather than maximizing only one.
Comparing the listed numbers makes the tradeoffs clearer: Supernova has the largest listed damage, cooldown-reduction, attack-speed, and walk-speed boosts among these three, while Ferocity is listed at +18% damage, +8% cooldown reduction, +14% attack speed, and +2 Walk Speed. Hunter’s bonuses are lower across those categories, but its displayed chance is 1.83%, compared with 0.04% for Ferocity and 0.01% for Supernova. Those figures describe the guides’ displayed chances, not a guarantee of how many rerolls you will need.

For critical-hit builds
Deadeye combines damage with both critical-hit chance and critical-hit damage, while Sniper emphasizes critical chance and adds critical damage and attack speed. Overkill focuses entirely on critical damage; Razor Focus focuses entirely on critical chance. The guides do not establish the underlying damage formula or how these effects interact, so use the listed bonuses to compare them rather than assuming a particular trait will produce a specific damage result.
Within this group, Deadeye has +5% Crit Chance and +50% Crit Damage alongside +20% Damage. Sniper lists +12% Crit Chance, +15% Crit Damage, and +8% Attack Speed. If you only want one critical stat, Overkill lists +40% Crit Damage and Razor Focus lists +13% Crit Chance. Their displayed chances also differ considerably: 0.01% for Deadeye, 0.04% for Sniper, and 1% each for Overkill and Razor Focus. The guides do not say whether or how the game combines these bonuses with other effects.

For farming, health, or a single stat
Fortune is the resource-oriented option, with bonuses to coins, EXP, and drop rate. Vitality is the listed health option, adding 25% maximum health. The Power, Swift, and Focus tiers let you target damage, attack speed and movement, or cooldown reduction respectively. The higher-numbered versions in each family have larger listed bonuses than the lower-numbered versions, but their displayed chances differ; weigh the effect you want against how often the guides say it appears.
For example, the listed Power tiers progress from +4% Damage for Power I to +6% for Power II and +8% for Power III; their displayed chances are 12.64%, 8.42%, and 4.21%. Swift I, II, and III list +6%, +9%, and +12% Attack Speed, with +1 Walk Speed on each; their displayed chances follow the same 12.63%, 8.42%, and 4.21% pattern. Focus I, II, and III list +4%, +7%, and +10% Cooldown Reduction, with displayed chances of 12.63%, 8.42%, and 4.21%. The figures make the tier tradeoff visible without implying that one tier is required for progression.

Pick based on the job of the weapon and what you want the bonus to support, not just the trait name or rarity.
How to enchant or reroll a weapon
In the reported process, an enchantment is a trait attached to the weapon you select. Rerolling replaces that weapon’s current trait, so confirm the selection before spending a Trait Reroll.
- Open Areas and travel to the Traits area.
- Find Matilda the Enchanter.
- Use the selection arrows to choose the weapon you intend to reroll.
- Check the selected weapon’s current trait and your Trait Reroll balance.
- Select Reroll to replace its current trait.
The important check is the weapon selection: the reroll applies to the weapon shown, not to an unspecified weapon or your whole inventory. Since the action replaces the current trait, look at that weapon’s existing trait first and make sure you are comfortable changing it. Then check that you have a Trait Reroll available before confirming. The guides describe no fixed reroll cost beyond the Trait Reroll resource, so do not assume a coin price or a guaranteed result.

How Auto Reroll and Keep Traits work
Auto Reroll can continue rolling until it reaches a trait you have marked to keep. Before enabling it, open the trait selection or Keep Traits menu and select every result you are willing to accept. If your desired trait is not selected, the process may continue past it. The guides also report that Trait History lets you review previous rolls.
- At Matilda, open the Keep Traits or trait-selection menu.
- Select the traits you are willing to keep.
- Review that selection before starting; it determines which results stop Auto Reroll.
- Enable Auto Reroll and check the resulting trait and Trait History afterward.
Think of the keep list as the stopping condition, not a preference setting that guarantees the next roll. If you would be happy to stop on more than one result, mark all of those traits before starting. If you only mark one and a different acceptable result appears, Auto Reroll may continue past it. Conversely, if an unwanted trait is selected, the process may stop there. Review the list carefully before activation, especially when using rerolls you would rather save for a specific weapon.
How to get more Trait Rerolls
Third-party guides report several possible in-game sources. Exact rewards can change, and the guides do not establish a fixed amount or guarantee for each route. Check the current game menus and announcements for availability.
- Game modes and Story rewards: Beebom mentions clearing game modes; Bloxodes also points to game modes or Story rewards.
- Daily and quest rewards: Check the daily reward and quest systems available in your current game version.
- Achievements and milestones: Bloxodes lists these as possible reward routes.
- Codes: Check the in-game Codes menu and current official announcements. The independent Anime Zero Wiki says it has not verified active codes directly with the developer, so do not assume a code is active or that a third-party code list is current.
These are routes to check, not promises that every player can claim a particular number of rerolls. Because reward rules may change, look at the live game’s relevant reward menus before planning around a source. For codes in particular, use the in-game Codes menu and official announcements to check whether an offer is current; the fan wiki’s lack of direct developer verification is a reason to treat unofficial code claims cautiously.

What to verify after an update
Anime Zero is described by the independent fan wiki as being in active development. Trait values, displayed chances, menu labels, and reward rules reported by guides may therefore cease to match the live game. The table reflects guides updated October 9, 2026; this information was checked October 13, 2026. For a decision that uses scarce rerolls, compare the listed details with the trait display and current menus in your game, and confirm reward availability through official announcements where possible.
The practical choice is to match the trait to the weapon’s job, check the weapon before spending a reroll, and set Keep Traits deliberately before using Auto Reroll. The reported list has 18 options, but the best fit depends on whether your priority is combat stats, critical hits, farming, health, or a specific stat upgrade.

What is the best trait in Anime Zero?
There is no single best trait for every weapon or goal. The guides describe Supernova and Deadeye as among the best, but that is an editorial assessment, not an official ranking. Supernova combines damage, cooldown reduction, attack speed, and walk speed; Deadeye pairs damage with critical chance and critical damage. Fortune better matches resource farming, while Vitality adds maximum health. Choose based on the bonuses you want.
How do you enchant weapons in Anime Zero?
Go through Areas to the Traits area, find Matilda the Enchanter, and use the selection arrows to choose the weapon. Check its current trait and your Trait Reroll balance, then select Reroll. The reported process replaces the trait on the selected weapon, so confirm the weapon before spending the resource.
How do I get more Trait Rerolls?
The guides report game-mode clears, Story rewards, daily or quest rewards, achievements and milestones, and active codes as possible sources. Exact rewards can change. Check the current game menus and official announcements; the independent Anime Zero Wiki says it has not verified active codes directly with the developer.

- Compatible with Wide Screens - To ensure compatibility with the dual monitor mount, your each monitor must meet three conditions at the same time: First, computer screens size range: 13 to 32 inches. Second, screen weight range: 4.4 to 19.8 lbs. Third, the back of the monitor screen must have VESA mounting holes with a pitch of 75x75mm or 100x100mm.
- Regarding the compatibility with desks - Your desk must meet three conditions at the same time: First, desk material: Only wooden desks are recommended, plastic or glass desks cannot be used. Second, desk thickness range: 0.59" - 3.54". Third, the bottom of the desk should not have any cross beams or panels, as this will interfere with installation. We recommend carefully checking that your desk and monitors meets all above conditions before purchasing.

How many traits are in Anime Zero?
The third-party guides list 18 weapon traits, with different displayed chances and bonuses. Their figures were updated October 9, 2026, and should be checked against the live game because Anime Zero is in active development.
Does a Trait Reroll guarantee a rare trait after enough attempts?
No guarantee is established by the guides. A displayed chance such as 0.01% is a reported chance for a roll, not a promise that the trait will appear within a particular number of rerolls. Check the current in-game values, and remember that a reroll replaces the selected weapon’s current trait.
What should I check before using Auto Reroll?
Review the Keep Traits or trait-selection menu and select every result you are willing to keep. Auto Reroll reportedly stops when it reaches a selected trait, so it may continue past a trait you wanted if that result is not on your list. Trait History can help you review earlier rolls.
