Dangerous anomalies require a closed shutter, but not every strange customer is dangerous. In Scary Shawarma Kiosk: The ANOMALY, inspect the customer directly, check the front and rear CCTV views, toggle night vision, and then follow the documented response for that encounter. This guide lists the current community-documented anomalies, special interactions, emergency events, and reported ending thresholds.

Direct answer: In Scary Shawarma Kiosk: The ANOMALY, do not close the shutter for every strange-looking customer. Use the CCTV monitor, inspect both the front and rear views, toggle night vision, and then apply the correct response: close the shutter for confirmed dangerous anomalies, serve documented harmless ones, and follow the special rule for encounters such as the Smiling Customer or Faceless Man.

Last checked: Current community documentation reviewed for this guide; the game’s Roblox listing does not provide a dated, developer-maintained anomaly encyclopedia. Names, locations, and interactions can change when the experience updates, so follow new taped rules and on-screen prompts if they conflict with this guide.

How the anomaly system works

You work the night shift at the fictional Shawarma 24 kiosk. The normal job is to keep the grill hot, prepare orders, serve customers, and follow the rules taped around the stand. The horror comes from deciding whether the person at the window is human.

The most important distinction is between dangerous, harmless, special, and event encounters:

  • Dangerous anomalies: close the shutter, do not serve, and wait until the threat has fully gone.
  • Harmless anomalies: serve the customer normally. Rejecting an unusual but safe customer can still create an error.
  • Special anomalies: perform a unique action instead of making a simple serve-or-reject decision.
  • Events: respond to the kiosk, timing, environment, or an outside threat rather than to an ordinary customer.

The names and categories below come from current community guides and gaming references. They are practical gameplay documentation, not a complete official taxonomy published by the developer @kharbor_ykt. Community sources also use different names for some encounters, so aliases are included where they help.

The five-step CCTV inspection routine

Before opening the shutter or handing over an order, make the CCTV monitor part of every suspicious encounter. A customer who looks normal at the counter may show an abnormality from another angle or under night vision.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.
  1. Inspect the customer in person. Look for abnormal faces, body parts, clothing, movement, behavior, or an unusual request.
  2. Check the front CCTV view. Look for distorted textures, an enlarged face, a figure that is too close, or a customer who does not appear normally on camera.
  3. Check the rear CCTV view. This is where you are most likely to find holes in the back, a passenger, a second figure, or something standing behind the customer.
  4. Toggle night vision. Some encounters become invisible or substantially different when night vision is active.
  5. Compare the encounter with the taped rules and current prompts. If you confirm a dangerous anomaly, close the shutter and wait for the threat to leave completely. If the customer matches a documented safe or special encounter, follow that encounter’s instruction instead of closing the shutter automatically.

Do not linger on a suspected CCTV Screamer. Some guides warn against prolonged direct viewing. Check what you need to confirm the threat, then close the shutter.

Why the inspection matters: the error system is designed to punish both kinds of mistake. Serving a dangerous anomaly can add an error, but incorrectly rejecting a harmless customer can also add one. Strange does not automatically mean hostile.

Dangerous anomalies: close the shutter and do not serve

These encounters are documented as dangerous or as requiring immediate shutter closure. If an anomaly is confirmed, do not prepare or hand over food. Close the shutter and wait until it has fully left before resuming work.

Anomaly How to identify it What to do
Back Holes / Black Holes The rear CCTV view reveals multiple black holes or openings in the customer’s back. Close the shutter. Do not serve.
Skinwalker The customer looks ordinary in person but has a distorted, skeletal, or otherwise abnormal texture on CCTV. Confirm it through CCTV, then close the shutter.
Nightvision Missing / Missing The customer becomes invisible or substantially absent when viewed with night vision. Treat the absence as the warning sign. Close the shutter.
CCTV Screamer The monitor shows a suddenly enlarged, extremely close, or screaming figure. Avoid prolonged viewing, close the shutter, and wait.
Passenger A creature or abnormal figure is attached to, riding on, or positioned on the customer’s back. Close the shutter. Do not serve.
Wild Deer / Elk A large, pale, deer-like creature approaches or appears at the kiosk. Close the shutter and do not engage.
Behind Stander An entity is behind the counter or appears behind the player. Close the shutter and avoid engagement.
Vandal The visitor tries to damage the kiosk, throw objects, or disrupt the stand. Close the shutter and do not serve.

Dangerous-anomaly mistakes to avoid

  • Do not trust the customer’s normal appearance if the rear camera or night vision contradicts it.
  • Do not reopen the shutter just because the figure is no longer visible at the window; wait until the threat has completely left.
  • Do not serve a customer who is actively vandalizing the kiosk.
  • Do not assume an unusual name means the same thing in every version. For example, guides may call the rear-body encounter Back Holes or Black Holes.

Safe or harmless anomalies: serve normally

The following encounters are strange but are documented as harmless customers. Serve the requested order as you would for an ordinary customer unless a separate warning appears.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.
Anomaly Identification cue Response
Karate Man The customer wears martial-arts clothing or performs karate-related movements. Serve normally.
Drunk Guy The customer appears intoxicated and may lack money or say payment will come later. Serve normally.
Dancing Lady A woman dances or moves unusually, without the camera-only distortion associated with a dangerous anomaly. Serve normally.
Short Arms The customer has noticeably short arms. Serve normally.
Phone Lady The customer remains on the phone or is accompanied by persistent ringing. Serve normally unless another anomaly cue appears.
Michael Myers The customer wears a Michael Myers-style mask but otherwise behaves like a normal customer. Serve normally according to current community guidance.

These are deliberate false-positive tests. A mask, odd movement, strange body proportion, or inconvenient payment situation is not by itself enough to justify rejecting the customer.

Special anomalies and their exact responses

Special encounters do not fit the ordinary dangerous-versus-safe decision. Follow the interaction-specific instruction below, but prioritize the taped rules and active prompts if your version behaves differently.

Smiling Customer / Smiling Man

The Smiling Customer is associated with a paper bundle or package. Community documentation generally gives this sequence:

  1. Provide the customer with a soda.
  2. Accept the bundle using the interaction key when prompted.
  3. Place the bundle under the kiosk counter or table area.
  4. Do not open it.

Guides differ on whether the final placement is described as beneath the table or under the register. Use the interaction prompt and treat the intended area as the space under the counter/table.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Faceless Man

The Faceless Man appears to have a hole or missing section where the face should be. This is not handled like an ordinary dangerous customer. Prepare and serve the order, but avoid staring at the facial void or hovering the cursor over it. One current rules reference specifically reports that closing the shutter is the wrong response.

Booger Man

The Booger Man makes a deliberately disgusting request, commonly described as offering boogers for a large amount of money. Refuse the request and continue the shift rather than serving the requested item.

Santa

A creepy-faced Santa or Santa-like visitor is documented as a special customer. Serve shawarma and a soda. This is community-reported guidance rather than an interaction rule published on the official Roblox listing.

Police Investigator / Death Note investigator

This is a high-spoiler, version-sensitive encounter. One current guide describes an investigator who gives you a notebook and asks you to write a name.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.
  1. Serve the investigator.
  2. Write your own name in the notebook.
  3. Expect a short sub-ending or interruption.
  4. If the sequence leaves you unable to continue, community documentation connects recovery with the Internal Control item from the Corruption Shop.

The item’s price, availability, and exact effect may change. Treat this as a documented route rather than a guaranteed sequence in every update.

Narrator

The Narrator is a voice-driven special encounter or event source. It may issue instructions such as closing the shutters or reacting to hazards. Community accounts describe more than one possible sequence, so do not assume every spoken instruction is universally safe in every situation. Follow the active rule sequence, verify the environmental cue, and respond to the current prompt rather than to an isolated line.

Event encounters and emergencies

Events can interrupt the normal customer loop. They may require leaving the stand, securing a door, turning off equipment, or ignoring a distraction. These are not ordinary customers, so do not try to solve them by applying the standard serve-or-close decision.

Inspector or inspection event

An inspection sequence involving a vehicle is documented at approximately 2:00 AM by current community guides. The usual response is:

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.
  1. Avoid looking toward the inspection vehicle or the kiosk monitor.
  2. Leave through the rear exit.
  3. Hide or face away from the kiosk until the inspection finishes.

References differ on the exact safe position: some describe hiding behind the trash can, while others say to face the fence. If the in-game prompt identifies a different hiding place, follow it. The inspection event is also reported to become more prominent as your error count increases.

The Meat or pulsing-meat event

A meat-tornado or pulsing-meat phenomenon can form around the grill and may be accompanied by loud or abnormal sounds.

  1. Turn off the grill or kiosk power.
  2. Leave the kiosk immediately.
  3. Return only after the abnormal noises have stopped.

Remaining inside during this event is reported as fatal. Do not stay to finish an order or investigate the grill.

Fog event

When fog begins, close the shutter, remain inside, and close the exit door so the fog cannot enter the kiosk. This is the opposite of the Inspector and Meat responses, which is why identifying the active event matters.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Goblin / Watcher

A goblin-like watcher may appear dancing, inside or near the refrigerator, or staring through a window. One current anomaly list advises acknowledging or watching it until it leaves and warns against opening the window. This is a community-reported event rule, so follow any newer prompt if the interaction changes.

TV glitch

A television malfunction may involve laughter, static, or flickering lights. Current documentation treats it as a distraction. Ignore it or close the shutter until it resolves, while continuing to prioritize customer inspection and any active emergency rule.

Old Man

The Old Man is a special sequence rather than a simple safe or dangerous customer. Closing and reopening the shutter multiple times causes him to approach and eventually disappear or resolve. Use the shutter sequence instead of serving him automatically or abandoning the kiosk.

Masked Man

Close the shutter, keep the exit door closed, and do not serve food to the Masked Man. Some guides report that he may attempt to enter from the rear, so monitor the back of the kiosk and keep the exit secured.

Error counts, the Inspector, and endings

Community documentation describes an error counter for incorrect service decisions. The commonly reported thresholds are:

Reported error count Reported result
0 errors Perfect or Good Ending
1–4 errors Unstable Ending
5 or more errors Neutralized or Bad Ending

These thresholds come from current fan guidance and should not be treated as developer-confirmed unless you verify them in the current game version. A rejected harmless customer may count just as much as a served dangerous anomaly, so caution does not mean closing the shutter whenever something looks unusual.

As errors accumulate, the Inspector is reported to become more prominent. A meat-like object near the refrigerator is used by community guides as a visual indication of the current danger or error state. The Internal Control purchase from the Corruption Shop is also reported to reset the error count, but its cost, availability, and exact behavior are version-sensitive.

A practical decision tree for a difficult customer

  1. Is there an active event? If the kiosk is fogged, the grill is producing the Meat event, an inspection is underway, or the Masked Man is at the stand, follow the event rule first.
  2. Does the customer show a clear dangerous cue? Check the rear camera for Back Holes or a Passenger, use night vision for Missing, and check CCTV for Skinwalker or CCTV Screamer. If confirmed, close the shutter.
  3. Is the unusual behavior one of the documented harmless anomalies? Karate Man, Drunk Guy, Dancing Lady, Short Arms, Phone Lady, and Michael Myers should normally be served.
  4. Is it a special encounter? Apply the specific rule for the Smiling Customer, Faceless Man, Booger Man, Santa, investigator, Narrator, or Old Man.
  5. Still uncertain? Recheck both camera angles and night vision, read the taped rules again, and wait for a prompt or environmental change. Do not rush into a service decision simply because the customer is visually strange.

Optional Roblox setup

What to remember

  • Use both CCTV angles, including the rear view.
  • Toggle night vision when a customer seems absent or visually inconsistent.
  • Close the shutter for confirmed dangerous anomalies, not for every odd-looking person.
  • Serve the documented safe anomalies normally.
  • Use the special instructions for the Smiling Customer, Faceless Man, Booger Man, Santa, investigator, Narrator, and Old Man.
  • During events, follow the event response: hide from the Inspector, leave during the Meat event, stay inside during fog, secure the kiosk against the Masked Man, and do not open the window for the Goblin or Watcher.
  • Treat the anomaly list and ending thresholds as version-sensitive community guidance, and let the current taped rules and prompts take priority.

Source note: The official Roblox experience description establishes the game’s premise, Roblox platform, kiosk job, grill, orders, and rules. The individual anomaly names, classifications, timings, and procedures in this guide are drawn from community-maintained documentation, which can disagree or become outdated after an experience update.

Frequently Asked Questions

Should I close the shutter for every strange customer?

No. Karate Man, Drunk Guy, Dancing Lady, Short Arms, Phone Lady, and Michael Myers are documented as harmless encounters. Serve them normally unless another warning appears.

How do I identify a dangerous anomaly?

Check both CCTV angles and toggle night vision. Rear-body holes, a passenger, CCTV distortion, a missing figure under night vision, or a screamer image can confirm a dangerous anomaly.

What should I do when the Faceless Man appears?

Serve the order, but do not stare at or hover the cursor over the Faceless Man’s facial void. Current community guidance reports that closing the shutter is the wrong response.

How many errors cause each ending?

Community guides commonly report 0 errors for a Perfect or Good Ending, 1–4 for an Unstable Ending, and 5 or more for a Neutralized or Bad Ending. These thresholds are version-sensitive rather than officially confirmed on the Roblox listing.

What should I do during the Meat event?

Turn off the grill or kiosk power and leave immediately. Return only after the abnormal noises stop; remaining inside is reported as fatal.

The Bottom Line

The winning habit is careful inspection, not automatic rejection: check the customer, both CCTV angles, and night vision; then close the shutter only for a confirmed danger. Safe anomalies still need to be served, while special customers and events have their own rules.
