That is dated guidance, and the available sources do not establish whether the rule remains unchanged on October 8, 2026. Check the current in-game Expedition confirmation and official update notes before proceeding if preserving quest progress matters to you.

Embark’s support search result for the January 2026 update described Expedition completion rewards including blueprints and Raider Tokens, with additional rewards including a Howl emote, a guitar and 300,000 Coins.
