The original Monster Energy x Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 promotion offered six themed rewards in a fixed order, plus 15 minutes of Double XP for each redeemed code. It is over: eligible U.S. purchases had to be made by December 31, 2024, and codes had to be redeemed by March 31, 2025. Canada’s separate promotion had the same final code-redemption date. Buying Monster Energy now does not establish that a can contains a valid Black Ops 6 code.
What were the Black Ops 6 Monster rewards?
Activision’s original promotion awarded one 15-minute Double XP token for each redeemed code. The first six codes also unlocked these themed items in a preset sequence; players could not choose their reward:

After the first six codes, additional eligible codes granted 15-minute Double XP tokens, subject to account limits. Activision’s promotion help page describes each code as granting “one 15-minute 2XP Token for use in Black Ops 6.”
How did the U.S. Monster code redemption work?
The U.S. route used either a qualifying purchase receipt or a code printed under a participating can’s ring pull. The receipt or pull-tab code was entered on the Monster promotion site; once validated, the resulting 2XP code was retrieved from the site’s My Codes area and redeemed with Activision.

- Submit the qualifying receipt or enter the ring-pull code on the Monster promotion site.
- After validation, open My Codes on that site and retrieve the Call of Duty 2XP code.
- Sign in to the Activision account linked to the platform account used to play Black Ops 6.
- Redeem the code on the Call of Duty redemption page.
Activision advised allowing up to 72 hours for receipt validation. Its U.S. instructions limited receipt uploads to one per account per day and up to 24 cans or bottles per receipt. Codes redeemed before Black Ops 6 launched were banked for later use. Activision said the themed digital content became usable in Black Ops 6 at launch and in Warzone starting with Season 1, on the same linked account.
How did the Canadian promotion differ?
Canada had separate eligibility rules and a tier system based on participating 473 mL cans with Silver Tabs. Eligible Canadian residents had to be at least 18. Participants scanned a can’s QR code or texted “COD” to 87878, registered or signed in, then entered the Silver Tab codes. The Canadian terms listed participating Monster Energy, Lo-Cal, Reserve, Ultra, and Punch varieties.

The Canadian campaign’s purchase and Silver Tab submission period ran October 8 through December 31, 2024. It capped submissions at 160 cans per participant, and DLC codes had to be redeemed by March 31, 2025. These Canadian tiers were distinct from the U.S. six-code reward sequence.
What were the deadlines and token limits?
For the U.S. general promotion, qualifying purchase receipts had to be dated September 1 through December 31, 2024, and codes had to be redeemed by March 31, 2025. Canada’s purchase and submission period ended December 31, 2024, with DLC redemption also ending March 31, 2025. Those dates have passed.

Activision’s 2024 terms capped each account at 40 hours of each 2XP token type across promotions and limited in-game use to one hour of each token type per day. A code could be used only once. Canadian rules additionally said codes could not be transferred, sold, or traded; codes obtained outside authorized methods were invalid.

Yes. Activision’s U.S. help page described separate retailer offers limited to the United States, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico, generally one item per account while supplies lasted. Participating retailers listed included 7-Eleven/Stripes/Speedway, Yesway/Allsup’s, Stater Bros., Murphy USA, QuikTrip, KwikTrip, Circle K, and Casey’s. Reward types included calling cards, weapon stickers, and animated emblems, with individual purchase windows and redemption deadlines; most retailer deadlines fell in 2024.

Walmart was a distinct U.S. exception: eligible purchases at Walmart stores or its website granted separate 15-minute Player XP and Weapon XP tokens, known as Dual 2XP, rather than just one Player XP token. This retailer route did not change the fixed sequence of the six core Monster-themed items.
Can you still get the original Monster rewards?
The original general promotion is closed, and the official U.S. and Canadian deadlines have passed. Activision’s bonus-content tracker lists a separate Monster-linked Chill Flannel Operator Skin entry associated with Season 05 Reloaded, but that listing does not mean the original drink-code offer remains open. Activision also notes that some promotional bonus items may later be offered individually for purchase; it does not promise that these particular rewards are currently available.
The game was sold separately, and the Canadian rules required an Activision account tied to the relevant platform profile to redeem and use the DLC. An applicable platform subscription could be required for multiplayer. Neither buying the game nor buying a current can of Monster Energy grants an expired promotion code.
