Ode to Castlevania is downloadable content for Vampire Survivors; the Steam version requires the base game. The boss locations below follow a player-maintained Steam Community guide, not an official map, and that guide warns that encounter order can vary between games. Use the named landmarks and gates as route cues rather than a guaranteed sequence.

The guide groups ordinary encounters across the forest, Marble Gallery, Clock Tower, and later regions, with a separate set of secret bosses unlocked using the Pile of Secrets. Exact routes or triggers may differ with your game’s unlock state, so confirm them in-game if a listed cue does not match your run.

How to use this boss-location list

Follow the region and landmark descriptions rather than the source guide’s numbering. Gates and boss defeats open routes and shortcuts, and Destructoid’s launch-era guide reports that defeating bosses can also unlock persistent warp points for later runs. The available location list is community-maintained; no comprehensive official boss map was found in the reviewed sources.

Ordinary progression bosses by region

Giant Bat Cross the bridge east of the start and follow the hall to the rune. Defeating it is associated with unlocking Stallion Gate.

Slogra and Gaibon Head west after Giant Medusa Head. The guide says they activate together and yield separate runes.
The Creature Go north into Marble Gallery, then west after Giant Medusa Head.
Doppelganger Northern Marble Gallery.

Paranoia Head south from Puppet Master. Associated with Capra Gate.

Secret bosses

The community guide lists these separately as encounters unlocked with the Pile of Secrets. These are route cues from that guide, not an official or guaranteed map.

Navigation tips

  1. Use gates, runes, and named rooms as landmarks; do not assume the guide’s numbered list is a chronological route.
  2. Check your current stage and unlock state when a route is blocked or an encounter is absent. The guide’s route cues may vary by game.
  3. Use persistent warp points when available to revisit known areas; Destructoid reports that boss defeats can unlock these for later runs.
  4. If a cue does not match your run, check the current in-game map or codex if available and follow the encounter name or marker rather than a fixed boss order.
