How to open Winterfest 2024 presents
- Open Fortnite and reach the main lobby.
- Select the snowflake icon in the lobby.
- Choose the option to visit the Winterfest Lodge or cabin.
- Select an available present and choose the option to open it.
- Collect the cosmetic reward and return on a later day for another present.
During the event, the normal limit was one present per day. Missing a day generally did not permanently remove that gift: unopened presents accumulated and could be opened later while the event was still active. Players therefore did not need to log in every single day to claim all 14, provided they returned before the cabin closed.

When did Yulejacket and Santa Dogg unlock?
Yulejacket was progression-gated within the left-side pile. Players had to open the other required left-side presents before the Yulejacket gift became available.
Santa Dogg was the center reward and became available after the relevant presents had been opened. It was not a separate Winterfest bundle and did not replace any of the 14 presents in the cabin.
The exact order in which a player opened available gifts could vary, but the reward inside each present was fixed. The three sprays in the second present also count as three cosmetic rewards from one gift—not as three separate presents.

Yes. The cabin fireplace could award bonus or Supercharged XP for spending time there during Winterfest 2024. That XP was separate from the present rewards and should not be counted as a fifteenth gift.

Not through the original Winterfest Cabin. Winterfest 2024 ended on January 7, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. ET.
Epic stated that items inside the presents were not necessarily permanently exclusive to Winterfest 2024 and could potentially appear in the Item Shop later. This means a future return was possible, but it does not confirm that any particular outfit, pickaxe, wrap, instrument, or other cosmetic will come back. There is also no guarantee that all 14 rewards will return together.

What the Winterfest presents did not include
The 14 cabin presents were free cosmetic rewards. They were separate from Winterfest-related Item Shop content, including outfits and bundles such as Mariah Carey, Santa Shaq and Guffmas Tree. Buying V-Bucks or a Fortnite gift card was not a way to claim the cabin presents, and the presents did not contain Fortnite currency.
Common naming mix-ups
Some third-party lists used shortened or inconsistent names for the rewards. For example, they may have called Dogg Treat a “Snoop pickaxe,” referred to That’s Cold Jac! as a “Snoop Back Bling,” or used labels such as “Winterfest Guitar,” “Rainbow Carver” or “Clawbox.” The canonical reward names in the table above are the clearer references for the Winterfest 2024 cabin contents.
