Astro Bot’s original Lost Galaxy sequence has 11 secret stages: find hidden exits in 10 main levels to unlock the first 10, then complete them all to open Final Encore. This guide gives the exit route for each level. It covers the original Lost Galaxy sequence, not every bonus or challenge stage added later.
How Lost Galaxy hidden exits work
On the level map, a galaxy or swirl icon beneath a level name marks a level with a Lost Galaxy portal. Inside that level, find and use its hidden exit; the level run ends, and the newly unlocked stage appears in Lost Galaxy on the overworld map. The hidden exit is revealed through a disco ball: pull its wire to open a golden warp portal.

The routes below are guide-based directions. The exit levels are listed by the main level they branch from; each unlocks the Lost Galaxy stage named alongside it.

Fan Club — Az-Tech Trail (Gorilla Nebula)
In the small temple, extinguish all four fires on the wall. Use the ladybug to reach the higher fires; putting them all out reveals the Lost Galaxy entrance.

Funky Fungi — Creamy Canyon (Gorilla Nebula)
At the pig, grab its tail and throw it at the frozen seal sculpture in the previous area. Climb to the sculpture’s spot, then drill into the sand to uncover the entrance.
Light Bulb Limbo — Go-Go Archipelago! (Tentacle System)
After defeating the boss, check the right side where one of its pincers landed. Spin down through the opening there to reach the entrance.
Boxel Bust-Up — Downsize Surprise (Tentacle System)
After the bedroom and the tree-leaf climb while downsized, reach the rooftop. Before taking the right-hand route toward the clocktower, check left for a blue floor plate. Glide over it with laser-feet to break its cover, jump up, and use the bubble-blowing frog. While downsized, ride a bubble to the tree-branch exit.
Furnace Fever — Bathhouse Battle (Serpent Starway)
After using the blue flower to fill the pool and growing the sponge platforms, reach the rooftop with a small pool and three burning blob enemies. Go left to the chimney, jump via the red torii gate and pink tree, then put out the chimney fire with water. Jump inside to find the entrance.

Ghouls & Bots — Free Big Brother! (Serpent Starway)
Break all the large robot’s locks to free it, then backtrack to the level start. Approach the temple structure in the water to summon an alien. Stand on each of the two lightning-bolt platforms and let the alien strike while Astro is on it. Completing both opens the entrance. If the alien is defeated, the walkthrough says it can respawn.
Rocket Pull Power! — Hieroglitch Pyramid (Camo Cosmos)
At the normal exit platform at the end of the level, go behind the exit to the wooden boards. Jump up and become the metal ball to break through; the launch carries Astro to the secret exit.
Danger Dojo — Balloon Breeze (Camo Cosmos)
After obtaining the level power-up, backtrack to the previous ladybug. Jump, glide, and use the power-up to reach a pot in the sky. Slash the bamboo with the DualSense, then activate the entrance by using thrusters in the metal ring around its eyes.

After defeating Djinny, do not take the level finish platform. Turn back and climb to the top of the platform. Follow the invisible platforms aligned with dark squares on the ground. Punch the carpet and ride it upward to the entrance.

Turtles in Trash — Frozen Meal (Feather Cluster)
Near the end, look for a platform with four electric enemies and two penguins playing with a giant snowball. Push the snowball toward the indicated spot, jump to the ledge, and pull the wire. Suck away the ice blocks to reveal the entrance.

After finishing all 10 stages unlocked by hidden exits, Final Encore appears in the middle of Lost Galaxy. It is the eleventh stage, but it is completion-gated rather than found through another exit in a main level.
Revisit levels if you miss an exit or collectible
A secret exit ends the current run, so it will not also take you through that level’s normal exit. Return to the level later if you still need its normal finish or collectibles. PowerPyx’s 2024 100% walkthrough says levels remain replayable after the story and missed areas can be revisited.

These 11 stages are the original Lost Galaxy sequence. PlayStation’s current ASTRO BOT game page lists later challenge content, and PowerPyx lists Winter Wonder separately as DLC. So “all hidden levels” here means the Lost Galaxy stages, not every bonus or challenge level added to the game.
