Which Mega Evolutions are in Mega Dimension?
Official announcements name five new Mega Evolutions associated with the DLC: Chimecho, Baxcalibur, Raichu X, Raichu Y and Zeraora. Mega Dimension’s story also includes encounters with Sceptile, Blaziken and Swampert. Their Mega Stones are earned separately through online Ranked Battles.

That distinction matters: encountering a Pokémon in the DLC does not by itself provide its Mega Stone. The official announcements reviewed do not provide a single exhaustive list of every Mega-capable Pokémon or every individual in-game unlock step.

Getting Mega Raichu X and Mega Raichu Y
Both Mega Raichu forms’ Mega Stones are included in the DLC’s additional story content. First complete the main story of Pokémon Legends: Z-A, then access Mega Dimension’s story. Nintendo’s support information does not name the exact mission or point at which either stone is awarded, so a more precise step-by-step route is not established here.
Where to get Baxcalibrite, Sceptilite, Blazikenite and Swampertite
Baxcalibrite and the Mega Stones for Sceptile, Blaziken and Swampert are tied to promotion in the Z-A Battle Club’s online Ranked Battles. These are not described as routine story pickups. Ranked reward timing can change: check the game’s current news for which rewards are available in a given season. Nintendo Account and Nintendo Switch Online access are required for online features.

- Go to the Looker Bureau and speak with Mimi to trigger “Shine Bright like a Gemstone.”
- Complete the side mission to add Diancie, then use Diancite to Mega Evolve it.
Nintendo Australia says players must complete the main story of Pokémon Legends: Z-A or Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition to play this extra side mission. The mission is base-game content, separate from the paid Mega Dimension story.
