This is a dated snapshot, not a complete roster for the entire season: later guides counted more characters as the roster expanded.

Follow the list from north to south. These are named landmarks, not precise coordinates; use a map from the same date as the guide for exact pins. The locations and services below reflect Gfinity’s early-season list, and inventories may differ in other patches.

What NPCs do in this season
NPCs are characters players can find and interact with. Depending on the character, an interaction may let you buy an item, receive healing, hire specialist support, or challenge the character for a reward. Prices and stock are not included in this early-season location list, and reported services can change between patches.
Hireable specialists
Beebom’s guide identifies four hireable characters in its list: Artemis as a Scout Specialist, Centurion as a Supply Specialist, Ruckus as a Heavy Specialist, and Triage Trooper as a Medic Specialist. That is a guide-specific count and terminology, not a season-long official roster.

NPCs and bosses are not always counted together
Guides use different categories. AltChar’s June 4, 2024 guide describes 12 standard NPCs and four Boss NPCs, while Gfinity’s May list counts 12 interactable NPCs. Prima Games’ July 26 guide lists 25 entries, including characters added later in the season. These totals describe different dates and counting choices; they should not be combined into a single stable count of every character present at any point.

The Chapter 5 Season 3 roster changed over time. Gfinity’s list is useful for the early-season 12-character roster, but it does not cover the later additions documented by Prima Games. Prima’s article supplies names and services for its later entries, but its available text does not provide locations for all of those additions. An exhaustive final-season location list is therefore not established by these dated guides.
