Borderlands 4 has nine Order Silos and 14 Safehouses that can become fast-travel points across Kairos. Silos activate at a terminal; Safehouses usually require you to find a datapad and insert it into the command console. This guide lists every location and the reported route or unlock detail for each.
How Silo and Safehouse fast travel unlocks work
- Order Silos: Interact with the Silo terminal or console. Activation adds the Silo as a fast-travel point and releases a surveillance balloon that marks a nearby Vault Fragment. The nine-location list and mechanics are reported by PowerPyx.
- Safehouses: Find the datapad, then insert it at the command console. The datapad may not appear on the map until you are close. Activated Safehouses also provide vending machines and contract boards, according to PowerPyx.
- Campaign progress: A revealed Fast Travel location may remain unusable until you advance the story. The official March 26, 2026 Borderlands Support update says campaign progress is still required.

These Safehouses and route details are listed in PowerPyx’s Safehouse guide. Unless a location is noted as automatically unlocked, find its datapad and then use the console.

When Dominion and revealed travel points become available
Dominion becomes accessible during Main Mission 17, according to the activity listing from PowerPyx. The Lockaway is tied to that mission; other discovered points can also be campaign-gated. The official March 26, 2026 update notes say activity and big-map progress are shared across characters, while multiplayer map discovery applies only to areas each player has personally explored.

Navigation notes and source scope
- For Deathright, head north of the balloon icon to the console rather than stopping at the icon; this correction is reported by PowerPyx and could change after a patch.
- The three Fadefields Silos and their terminal activation mechanic are also described by Gamer Guides.
