Are they the same game?

Does progress transfer between ASTD and ASTD X?

Select the original when your main question is, “Which related game has the deeper accumulated library?” The dated comparison answers that in favor of ASTD. Expect to learn an older progression structure and to begin a collection that remains separate from X.

Start with ASTD X if your priority is a newer starting point
