Most pickups are placed directly on the critical path, and missed items can be collected later by returning to earlier areas after the final boss.

Chapter-by-chapter weapon locations
Chapter 1: Saber — The Battlefield
The Saber is impossible to overlook because it is granted automatically at the beginning of Revival. You do not need to search a chest, defeat a named enemy or complete an optional objective.

Chapter 2: Pistol — Valley of Ashes
During the bridge platforming section in Regroup, watch the left side for a train car. Enter it and collect the Pistol. This pickup is required to continue, so the route naturally directs you to it.
Chapter 3: Rapier — Abandoned Church
After leaving the Abandoned Church and heading toward the Village, the Rapier is lodged in a body that blocks the route. Take it to clear the obstruction and continue. Because the weapon is part of the path, it is not a hidden side-room collectible.

Chapter 3: Blunderbuss — Fallen Village, Fields
In the Fields section, find the Volunteer using the large sword and defeat that enemy. A carriage behind the encounter contains a table with the Blunderbuss. Check the carriage before moving on so the nearby landmark remains easy to identify.
Chapter 5: Musket — Under the Bridge
In Crime, reach Under the Bridge in the Vale of Wrath and defeat the dual-sword Volunteer. The enemy drops the Wagon Key. Take the key to the central wagon, enter it and collect the Musket from the table inside. The weapon cannot be reached until the key has been obtained.

Chapter 6: Claymore — Village Church
At the Village Church in Punishment, shoot both weak points on the outside of the building. This opens the front door. Go inside and pull the Claymore from the body. If the entrance is still closed, inspect the exterior again for the second weak point rather than searching for another route.

Are any weapons missable?
The story walkthrough identifies important items as non-missable and allows you to return to previous areas after defeating the final boss. If you pass a weapon without collecting it, finish the current progression first, then revisit its chapter and landmark during cleanup. This is especially useful for the Blunderbuss, which is found beside—but not described as a mandatory part of—the main route.
- Complete the story until the final boss is defeated.
- Return to the chapter and area listed in the table.
- Follow the landmark instructions: train car, body, carriage, central wagon or church.
- Interact with the weapon pickup when you reach it.
Weapons versus Transmutations
The trophy roadmap counts nine total Weapons and Transmutations, but only six of those are swords or guns. The remaining three are abilities: Fire in Chapter 1, Stasis in Chapter 4 and Shield in Chapter 8. They should not be added to a weapon-location checklist because they are Transmutations rather than equipment in the six-weapon arsenal.
What is not established about weapon damage
The available location information confirms each weapon’s chapter, landmark and acquisition method, but it does not provide a complete authoritative table of damage values, upgrade scaling or a universal best-to-worst ranking. Choose weapons according to the encounter and your preferred melee or firearm playstyle instead of relying on unsupported numerical rankings.
