Nintendo’s March 27, 2025 Nintendo Direct was a roughly 30-minute showcase of upcoming Nintendo Switch games—not a hardware presentation. Its biggest spotlights included Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, DRAGON QUEST I & II HD-2D Remake, a new Rhythm Heaven and Tomodachi Life, alongside digital Virtual Game Cards and the Nintendo Today! app. Here’s what Nintendo announced, with the event’s UK-specific release-date snapshot kept separate from current availability.
What was the March Nintendo Direct?
Nintendo’s event page identifies the broadcast as “Nintendo Direct 3.27.2025” and describes a software showcase for Nintendo Switch. Nintendo of America characterized it as roughly 30 minutes; that describes the presentation, not a game or audience statistic. Nintendo’s US event page and Nintendo UK’s March 27, 2025 recap identify the event and its focus.
