Amazon’s October 2026 Prime benefit lineup has 10 PC games scheduled to claim across five dates, from October 1 through October 29. The opening pair is Five Nights at Freddy’s: Into the Pit and DOOM—the latter is the 2016 shooter, though Amazon lists it simply as DOOM. Claims use different storefronts and code types, so check the schedule for each game’s redemption format.

How to claim DOOM 2016 with Amazon Prime
Amazon’s listing calls the October 1 game DOOM and says it is claimed as a GOG code. VGC identifies the offer as the 2016 first-person shooter. To redeem it, open the October Prime games claim page, select the DOOM offer, and follow its GOG code instructions. A GOG code is distinct from a Steam entitlement or a Luna stream; use the redemption steps displayed with the offer.

What Into the Pit is
Five Nights at Freddy’s: Into the Pit is an adventure game from Mega Cat Studios, released for PC on August 7, 2024, according to its Steam listing. You play as Oswald, who travels into the past through a ball pit in a rundown pizzeria. The game combines exploring different time periods, gathering clues, solving puzzles, and using stealth to evade a pursuing threat.
The Nintendo US store description also highlights secrets across decades, multiple endings, and escaping animatronics. That page describes a digital Switch edition; Amazon’s October offer is a separate PC claim. For the story behind the game, readers can also explore the Into the Pit story collection. The book is not required to claim or play the game.

Where the games redeem—and what “free” means
The claim channel varies by title: the October list includes Epic Games Store claims, GOG and Legacy Games codes, and games delivered through the Amazon Games App. Follow the instructions attached to each offer rather than assuming every game appears in the same library.
These are PC games to claim through the Prime benefit, not the separate Luna cloud-streaming catalog. Amazon describes them as included with Prime. VGC reports that claimed games remain in a player’s library after they leave the monthly offer, but Amazon’s monthly announcement does not spell out post-subscription or account-retention terms. Treat library retention as VGC’s general reporting, not a blanket promise covering every redemption or account condition.
