An August 2026 buying guide reported a $99.99 US base listing without an SD card; Anbernic’s store offers multiple variants, and shipping and tax can raise the checkout total. The October 2025 announcement coverage did not yet have an exact price.
Is the Anbernic RG DS under $100?
It has been listed at that threshold, but not as a universal all-in price. In August 2026, iTechGuides reported a $99.99 US listing for the standard configuration without an SD card. That is a dated device-price report, not a guarantee of current stock or the amount a buyer will pay after shipping and tax. Anbernic’s official listing shows multiple configurations and regional options, so check the selected variant and destination before ordering: Anbernic’s RG DS listing. [c1] [c5]
The October 2025 announcement coverage described the handheld as launching for under $100, while noting that the exact price had not yet been announced. That early claim should not be treated as a current checkout quote. [c3]
What do you get with the RG DS?
Two touch displays
Anbernic specifies two 4-inch IPS displays, each with a 640×480 resolution, multi-touch, and capacitive-stylus support. A stylus is listed among the included accessories. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent measurements. [c1] [c2]

Does the Anbernic RG DS include an SD card?
Not in every configuration. The official store lists card and no-card variants, and the August 2026 $99.99 US base configuration reported by iTechGuides was the no-SD option. Confirm the exact OS and storage bundle on the selected listing before paying; if choosing the no-card version, plan separately for a compatible microSD/TF card. Anbernic lists expansion support up to 2TB. [c1] [c5]

What to check before ordering
- Configuration: Verify whether the selected variant includes a card and which OS/storage bundle it specifies.

- Game files: Emulation support does not determine whether a game file is lawful to use. Use homebrew or files you are entitled to use, and check applicable local law.
