Her encounter starts near the Abandoned Coffin in Altus Plateau, but she retreats after taking damage; to finish the fight, find her again southwest of the Rampartside Path Site of Grace. Defeating her rewards Lansseax’s Glaive, an incantation.
Where to find Ancient Dragon Lansseax
The encounter has two locations in Altus Plateau. The first is near the Abandoned Coffin Site of Grace, close to the Ruin-Strewn Precipice entrance to the plateau. After taking enough damage, Lansseax flies away. That retreat is part of the encounter, not proof that you have defeated her.

Continue to the hill southwest of the Rampartside Path Site of Grace in eastern Altus Plateau. Lansseax appears there again, and this is where you can defeat her for good. The route and staged encounter are described in the Elden Ring Wiki.gg Ancient Dragon reference.
What to expect in the fight
Lansseax uses distinctive red-lightning glaive attacks, including a diagonal slam and a horizontal sweep that send waves across the ground. Recognizing the attack shape and the ground-level waves can help you read what is happening, but exact dodge timing depends on your positioning and has not been established here as a fixed strategy.

Who Lansseax is in Elden Ring lore
The in-game lore, as summarized by the Elden Ring Wiki.gg reference, identifies Lansseax as Fortissax’s sister. It says she took human form as a priestess to commune with the knights of the Ancient Dragon Cult, and names Vyke the Dragonspear as her most beloved knight. Vyke is associated with the Frenzied Flame; the available account does not establish a more detailed timeline or relationship beyond those points.
