At each branch, follow the small horse markers above the doorways; they indicate the route toward the main chest, which contains Yukimitsu’s Revenge, a legendary tanto.
Where to find Nanjo Kofun
The tomb is in the Eagle’s Nest area of Yamashiro, southwest of Kyoto. It lies between the Foresaken Pagoda Viewpoint to the west and Toji Temple to the east. The location and route below follow a walkthrough published by VULKK on March 20, 2025; the exact game patch it applies to is not specified.

How to navigate the tomb
Use the horse symbols above doorways to pick the intended passage at junctions. Several side chests are optional; the directions below note them so you can decide whether to detour.
- Enter the first sarcophagus room. Descend the entrance stairs. Loot the chest if you want it, then follow the tunnel west.
- Choose the marked doorway by the pond. Drop into the room with a small pond and take the door marked with horses, not the slope on the left.
- Drop for the small chest. At the chest on the right, drop down to reach it, then continue into the adjacent tunnel.
- Cross the water and use the crawlspace. Swim across the next water area or move over the rock formations. After dropping into shallow water, find the small hole in the south wall and crawl through the dark passage. The 2025 walkthrough reported that climbing out at the pond shore seemed buggy at publication. If Naoe will not climb, reposition and try the left side.
- Cross the next chamber. Head south across the water, climb up on either side, and drop to the lower floor. Loot the chest, then take the southern passage marked with horses.
- Cross the large cave. Go west over the protruding stone pillars and jump the gap from the wooden planks. For an optional chest, return to the cave floor and look for a narrow crack in the south wall.
- Grapple east and climb. Return to the large cave, turn east, and use the grappling hook to cross toward the two horse markers. Follow the tunnel, climb up, and continue upstairs.
- Take the left-hand route at the final crossroads. Drop down and loot the chest, then go left, south. Slide through the winding passage, crawl prone through the opening in the green wall, and continue to the final room.
What is in the final chest?
The main chest contains Yukimitsu’s Revenge, a legendary tanto for Naoe. The walkthrough lists bonuses to weapon DPS, posture DPS, ability damage, and poison buildup. Its engraving makes afflicted enemies vulnerable. No numerical stats or level requirement are established in the cited walkthrough.
