What to do first
- Follow the live tutorial and objective tracker. Use the task currently displayed in-game rather than assuming an older guide’s route still applies.
- Check what advances the objective. Note which enemy, action, or button makes progress before repeating a farm. This helps avoid grinding an activity that does not meet the current task.
- Inspect currencies and items in the interface. Read the current description for each resource or consumable; do not infer its purpose from a remembered guide.

The official Roblox listing describes the game as collecting and training fighters, exploring worlds, seeking secret fighters, and completing game modes for rewards. It is a useful overview, but it does not spell out detailed progression requirements or the current economy.
How progression works
Community guides describe a broad progression loop: train on enemies, complete quests, use a world’s gacha system, claim a rank-up multiplier when its requirements are met, and move onward. Another guide describes completing a world’s quest chain before challenging its boss. Treat these as orientation to the kinds of systems you may encounter—not as a guaranteed order or a current checklist. The Astral Wiki progression guide, updated September 2 and last verified September 5, 2026, is unofficial; the in-game prompts should determine your actual next step.
For each world, use the quest chain and visible unlock or rank-up prompts to find the next requirement. Once the game indicates you can advance, follow that prompt rather than assuming you need a particular level, amount of currency, or number of clears from an older guide. Exact thresholds and a permanently fastest route are not established by the accessible sources; the Anime Astral Simulator Beginner Guide, reviewed August 8, 2026, cautions that requirements and values can change.

How to invest in fighters
A July 2026 community beginner guide recommends concentrating investment on one main team instead of spreading resources across every fighter you obtain. Its general strategy is to replace weaker fighters when stronger units become available in a new world, and to postpone chasing secret fighters until your core team can handle the current world comfortably. This is community advice, not an official ranking; judge it against your roster and the game’s current descriptions.
There is no substantiated current “best beginner fighter” ranking in the sources reviewed. Compare fighters using the attributes and acquisition costs currently shown in-game, and ask whether a new pull would materially help with your present objective. How to handle currency and upgrades
The public Roblox listing does not document currency types, earning rates, prices, or exchange systems. Community pages mention tickets and other resources, but they do not establish a fully corroborated current economy. Use the live interface as your source of record:
- Identify the currency by its current in-game label and description.
- Read the displayed cost and effect before confirming an upgrade or purchase.
- Check whether the purchase advances your current objective or unlock requirement.
- Keep limited resources if you cannot confirm what they do or whether they can be replaced.
Do not rely on costs from old videos or guides after an update. The linked Anime Astral Simulator Trello board is not a dependable basis here for current values, and no authoritative current currency table is established by the available sources. That means there is no responsible universal “best first purchase” to recommend.

Codes, boosts, and potions
The official Roblox listing currently includes the text “Use Code "Release" for some FREE Boosts!” That confirms the code string appears in the listing; it does not guarantee successful redemption for every player now or specify the reward. Check the live code interface and its current response rather than counting on a reported code or reward amount.
A July 2026 community guide suggests using luck potions before summons, power and damage potions before boss grinds or world pushes, and XP or Yen potions during farming. When to try game modes
The Roblox listing says game modes provide rewards, but does not give their unlock conditions, schedule, or reward details. A July 2026 community guide recommends adding trials and raids once regular world clears feel stable. Check the live portal or mode requirements for what is currently available and whether your team is ready; do not assume an old guide’s timing or rewards still apply.
What to recheck after an update
Because exact costs, requirements, item effects, active codes, and character rankings are not settled by the available sources, revisit them in-game after updates. Let the current objective, item descriptions, upgrade screens, and mode prompts guide decisions that depend on changing values.
