If your Apex Legends Free Track coins haven’t appeared, first check the current pass’s reward list and your account balance: EA’s current Marked Battle Pass Split 1 page lists 200 Apex Coins on the Free Track, subject to regional availability. EA recommends restarting your system, confirming you’re signed into the right EA Account, and checking server status. There is no official confirmation in the sources cited here of a widespread current Free Track coin-delivery bug.
How many Apex Coins does the Free Track offer?
Electronic Arts’ current Marked Battle Pass Split 1 page lists 200 Apex Coins on the Free Track and notes that the offer is not available in all regions. Check the active in-game pass and your region before treating that amount as an entitlement. The listed amount is a reward, not necessarily the balance you should see if you have already claimed or spent coins.
Battle Pass tracks and store details can change. EA’s help article says the Premium Battle Pass costs 950 Apex Coins; Ultimate tiers use real-world currency through the in-game or official store. Verify the current offer in-game for your region.
Is there a widespread Free Track coin bug?
The official sources cited here confirm the advertised reward and provide general missing-content steps, but do not confirm a current widespread bug that prevents Free Track coins from arriving or announce a fix. That leaves the broader bug status unconfirmed; an individual missing-reward report is not evidence of a game-wide incident.

Check why your Apex Coins balance looks low
Before comparing your balance with an expected total, separate coins earned from coins claimed and coins still held. Also check which track contained each reward, whether you claimed it, and whether you spent coins after earning them.
In one EA Forums reply, community manager EA_Mako addressed a player’s 1,200-versus-1,300 balance report by explaining that, in that case, 200 coins were on the Free Track and 1,100 were on the purchased track. The reply also referred to a free-track reward the player had previously spent. Those figures describe that player’s situation; they are not a general promise about every pass or account.

Troubleshoot missing coins in this order
- Verify the account. Make sure you are signed into the EA Account and platform account where you earned the reward. Coins or rewards earned on another account will not explain the balance on the account you are currently viewing.
- Restart and check services. Restart your system, then check EA and your platform’s server status. EA notes that content might not arrive while there is a service issue. See EA’s missing-content guidance.
- Review the pass and your activity. Inspect the Free and paid tracks separately, confirm which rewards you actually claimed, and review whether you have spent coins since claiming them. A reward shown on a track is not the same as coins remaining in your balance.
- Contact EA if the entitlement is still missing. If these checks do not resolve a missing reward or purchased entitlement, contact EA Help. For a purchase-related issue, have proof of purchase available; EA community guidance says support can verify it in missing-purchased-coins cases.
Why older Battle Pass coin figures may not match today
EA’s July 8, 2024 announcement for Season 22 described 200 Apex Coins per split on the Free Track, or 400 AC across that season’s two splits. EA edited the announcement on July 24, 2024 after community feedback to say Premium would again be available for 950 Apex Coins beginning with Season 22 Split 2 on September 17, 2024. Those are historical policy details, not a current-season guarantee. Use the current pass page and in-game store for today’s rewards and prices. EA’s Season 22 Battle Pass announcement.
