Apple’s September 2025 Apple Arcade lineup was NFL Retro Bowl ’26, Jeopardy! Daily, and My Talking Tom Friends+. Apple said all three became available on September 4, 2025. They offer three different play styles: football team competition, daily trivia, and virtual-pet activities.

What each game offers
NFL Retro Bowl ’26
New Star Games’ football game adds updated rosters and schedules, weekly leaderboards, and the option to compete as a favorite NFL team. Apple says the edition is exclusive to Apple Arcade and includes authentic NFL and NFLPA licensing. Its seasonal framing and team competition distinguish it from the other two additions.
Jeopardy! Daily
Frosty Pop Games’ trivia game uses clues crafted by the show’s writers. Players enter responses as questions, with daily boards, multiple game modes, weekly tournaments, and global leaderboards. It is the lineup’s option for short, recurring quiz sessions and competitive play.

My Talking Tom Friends+
Outfit7 brings Tom, Angela, Hank, Ginger, Ben, and Becca together in an interactive virtual-pet game. Apple describes pet-care activities and mini-games; its App Store feature also highlights caring for six animals, gardening, cooking, and collecting stickers. This is the most open-ended of the three, centered on interacting with the characters and activities rather than trivia rounds or football fixtures.
Apple Arcade access and availability
Apple described the games as part of Apple Arcade, where games are free from ads and in-app purchases. In its 2025 announcement, Apple said one subscription gave a family of up to six access to a catalog of more than 200 games. These figures describe Apple’s catalog and subscription offering at the time of that announcement, not a guarantee of the current catalog size or terms. Apple also notes that availability depends on hardware and software compatibility and that some content may not be available in every region. Why the September year matters
This three-game lineup is the September 2025 announcement, not Apple’s separate September 2026 wave. Apple’s August 11, 2026 announcement describes a different schedule, including NFL Retro Bowl ’27 rather than ’26. Apple’s Newsroom archive lists coverage by date, which helps distinguish the releases.
