Where do I find the Aphelion blueprint in ARC Raiders?
Go to Stella Montis and search containers as you move through the map. Embark’s Cold Snap Patch Notes 1.7.0, dated December 16, 2025, state: “Moved the Aphelion blueprint drop from the Matriarch to Stella Montis.” MetaForge’s community database lists the blueprint as obtainable from any container on Stella Montis, but that detail is not an official guarantee.

No source establishes a specific container, room, route, or numeric probability. Search multiple containers during a run rather than treating one spot as a confirmed spawn.
How to farm the blueprint
- Queue for Stella Montis. Search containers along your loot route; the community database describes any container on the map as a possible source.
- Repeat runs as attempts. Embark’s Patch Notes 1.3.0, dated November 20, 2025, say “Increased Aphelion blueprint drop rates,” but do not publish a percentage. There is no supported number of runs that guarantees the drop.
- Extract successfully with the blueprint. The Aphelion entry says you must learn the blueprint in the Raider Den before crafting the rifle.
Is the Matriarch still a blueprint source?
Do not plan a Matriarch hunt as the confirmed current blueprint route. The official December 2025 notes document moving the drop from the Matriarch to Stella Montis. A community wiki still lists the Matriarch alongside Stella Montis containers, but the reviewed sources do not verify that a later update restored that drop. The official relocation notice makes Stella Montis the best-supported route.

What do you need to craft Aphelion?
After learning the blueprint, the listed recipe requires Gunsmith level 3 and these materials:
- 3 Complex Gun Parts
- 3 Magnetic Accelerators
- 1 Matriarch Reactor
The Matriarch Reactor is a crafting ingredient; its inclusion in the recipe does not establish the Matriarch as a current blueprint source.

What changed in the 1.3.0 weapon update?
Embark’s November 20, 2025 patch notes recorded these Aphelion balance changes:

- Reload time decreased from 4.5 to 3.5 seconds.
- Time between shots decreased from 0.9 to 0.7 seconds.
- Vertical recoil was reduced by 50%.
- Aim-down-sights settle speed improved by 35%.
These figures describe changes in that dated patch, not a complete statement of the weapon’s current stats. Secondary sources also disagree about its firing-mode label, so check the in-game weapon description rather than relying on an unverified mode claim.
