ARC Raiders Hotfix 1.7.2 went live on all platforms on December 18, 2025. It made a small blueprint drop-rate adjustment, brought Hidden Bunker back, and fixed several interaction, Cold Snap, driver-warning, and quest-progression issues. Embark advised players to restart the game client to download it.
What changed in Hotfix 1.7.2?
Embark’s official Hotfix 1.7.2 notes list one blueprint adjustment and five availability or bug fixes:

- Blueprint drops: Drop rates were lowered slightly, but Embark said they remained higher overall than before Update 1.7.0. The notes do not give exact rates or a drop-rate table.
- Hidden Bunker: The location was re-enabled.
- Interaction issue: Fixed a problem where repeatedly pressing interact while on a poor connection could leave a player unable to interact.
- Cold Snap interiors: Added missing volumes so areas inside would not deal cold damage during Cold Snap.
- AMD GPU driver warning: The warning was updated; the notes do not describe the wording change.
- Unexpected Initiative: Fixed an issue that prevented quest items from spawning, which had made the quest impossible to complete.
How is this different from December Update 1.7.0?
Hotfix 1.7.2 is a separate, smaller release—not the larger December Update 1.7.0. The official Help Center release index lists “Hotfix – Dec 18” separately from “December Update 1.7.0.” See the release index.

How do you download the hotfix?
Restart the ARC Raiders client. Embark’s notice said the hotfix was going live on all platforms and instructed players to restart their client to download it.

Is Hotfix 1.7.2 the latest ARC Raiders update?
No. Hotfix 1.7.2 is a historical update from December 18, 2025. The official ARC Raiders news listing showed updates through September 2026 at the time it was checked, including Live Update 1.45.0 on September 8, 2026.
