ARMR0002 is reported with an ARC Raiders matchmaking failure that can stop you joining a raid or grouping with friends. Embark’s reviewed help pages do not define this exact code, so it is not possible to confirm from official guidance whether it points to a specific server, network, or account problem. Try the official matchmaking checks below; they are general troubleshooting steps, not guaranteed ARMR0002-specific fixes.
What does ARMR0002 mean in ARC Raiders?
Players have reported ARMR0002 alongside a matchmaking failure, sometimes shown as “Matchmaking has failed.” A secondary guide describes it as a client-to-server connection issue, but Embark’s support pages do not confirm that diagnosis for this code. Treat ARMR0002 as a matchmaking symptom rather than proof of a particular cause.

The official steps from Embark address matchmaking and connection problems generally. They do not establish that ARMR0002 means there is a server outage, a DNS fault, an anti-cheat issue, or a problem with your home network.

How to troubleshoot the matchmaking error
- Synchronize your device clock. Embark recommends checking clock synchronization for matchmaking problems, including cases where a player can join standard maps but not maps with conditions. Set your device’s date and time to update automatically, or use its option to sync the clock, then try matchmaking again.
- Set the matchmaking region to Automatic. In ARC Raiders, open Gameplay > Server and select Automatic. Embark lists the server-region setting as a matchmaking check for PC and console.
- Check crossplay, especially if you are in a party. Embark says, “Turning Crossplay on can help you find games faster.” Its matchmaking guidance also says the most restrictive party member’s crossplay setting applies to the group. If you are playing with friends, have everyone check the setting rather than changing only your own.
- On PC, test your connection without a VPN or proxy. Embark recommends a stable connection and wired Ethernet rather than Wi-Fi for connection stability. It also cautions that VPNs or proxy services can interfere with gameplay. If you are currently on Wi-Fi, testing with Ethernet may help rule out a local connection issue, but it is not a guaranteed fix for ARMR0002.
When to contact Embark support
If the clock, region, crossplay, and relevant PC connection checks do not help, use the Embark support portal. Include the exact error code, whether it appears while solo or in a party, your platform, and which matchmaking checks you tried. These details can help support distinguish a recurring problem from a setting-specific one.
