A Reveal In Ruins objectives
- IN ONE ROUND
- Search for an ESR Analyzer inside any pharmacy in Buried City.
- Deliver the ESR Analyzer to Lance.
Lance gives this quest after Medical Merchandise. Although the final hand-in happens in Speranza, finding the analyzer and returning with it are treated as one-round objectives. You must extract while carrying the analyzer before Lance can accept it. Quest details

Buried City pharmacy locations
You do not need to search every medical building. The documented pharmacies are marked by a Farmacia sign and a green cross:
- Piazza Arbusto: beside the metro stairs.
- Plaza Rosa: in the top-right corner of the plaza, at the junction opposite Red Tower.
Either pharmacy can provide the quest item. Hospitals, clinics, medical rooms, and ordinary medical loot containers are not listed as substitutes for this objective. Location and walkthrough reference

How to find and collect the ESR Analyzer
- Enter a Buried City round with A Reveal In Ruins active.
- Travel to either Piazza Arbusto or Plaza Rosa.
- Breach the pharmacy door and enter.
- Search the front desk. The interaction prompt is reported as
search for parts. - Look in or around the yellow box at the counter.
- Pick up the ESR Analyzer itself. Searching the counter is not enough.
- Place it in a Safe Pocket if you have room, then reach an extraction point and leave Buried City.
- Return to Speranza and deliver the analyzer to Lance.
The inventory does not automatically open when the analyzer becomes available, so confirm that you have actually picked up the item before leaving the pharmacy. If you only complete the search interaction, the quest may remain incomplete after extraction. The ESR Analyzer is a quest item and cannot be crafted, recycled, or sold; storing it in a Safe Pocket protects it from being lost if you die. ESR Analyzer item reference
Do you need to scan or deploy the analyzer?
No. The current objective requires one ESR Analyzer from any pharmacy in Buried City and delivery to Lance. It does not require deploying the analyzer, waiting for a timed scan, scanning multiple pharmacies, or collecting several analyzers. The analyzer is visible but cannot be picked up
Some players have reported seeing an analyzer on the counter after dying with it, but being unable to interact with it on a later visit. This appears to be a reported quest-state bug rather than a confirmed universal behavior. Check that the quest is active, try the other documented pharmacy, and avoid relying on a visible model as proof that the item is collectible. If neither location provides an interaction, restarting the round or game may be worth trying, but the player reports do not establish a guaranteed fix. Player report

The quest is not delivered after returning to Speranza
The most common reported explanation is that the front-desk search was completed but the separate item pickup was missed. Return only after confirming the ESR Analyzer is in your inventory, and extract with it in the same round. If it was lost on the way out, you must search for another one rather than attempting to sell, craft, or recycle a replacement.
