Embark first capped ARC Raiders’ Cred at 800 to prevent players from saving enough to unlock future Raider Decks immediately. It later announced that Cred would expire with the Frozen Trail update: the stated deadline to spend it was October 8, 2026. Embark named Shani’s store and unclaimed Raider Deck rewards as spending options, and said claimed rewards would be kept under the new reward system.
Why Embark introduced the 800-Cred cap
In its December 16, 2025 update, Embark displayed an 800-Cred soft cap and explained that the change was intended to prevent players from accumulating enough Cred to fully unlock new Raider Decks. The developer note also pointed to adding more items to Shani’s store as another use for Cred. Embark’s December Update 1.7.0 notes said Cred players had accumulated before the cap was introduced would not be removed.
The 800-Cred cap was a limit on accumulation, not the later announcement that Cred would be retired. Embark addressed that separate change in September 2026.
When Cred was due to expire
On September 8, 2026, Embark announced in Live Update 1.45.0 that players could use Cred until October 8, 2026. Any remaining balance, the announcement said, would expire with the Frozen Trail update.

October 8 is the deadline stated in Embark’s announcement. That notice alone does not establish whether Frozen Trail had deployed by that date, so check the game or a newer official notice for the current status.
Where to spend remaining Cred
Embark named two destinations: Shani’s store and unclaimed Raider Deck rewards. To decide how to use a balance, compare the store options currently available to you with the rewards you have yet to claim. The announcement does not specify Shani’s current inventory or item prices.
- Shani’s store: Use Cred on available store items you want.
- Unclaimed Raider Deck rewards: Spend Cred on rewards you have not yet claimed.
What happens to Raider Deck rewards
Embark said existing Raider Deck rewards would be available through the new reward system and that rewards claimed by the time of the update would be kept. Its announcement does not say that unused Cred would transfer into that system. The reward-retention assurance is therefore distinct from the fate of any unspent balance: Cred was announced to expire with Frozen Trail.
