First Wave Husks are old, static ARC wrecks left on the maps—not the shells of enemies you destroy during your current raid. Start at Old Battleground on Dam Battlegrounds, then try the reported hotspots on Spaceport and The Blue Gate. These are useful search areas, not guaranteed spawns.
How to recognize a First Wave Husk
Look for an old, rusted, decrepit ARC wreck, often partly buried among battlefield debris. Reported types include Wasp, Rocketeer, and Baron husks. The key distinction is that these are pre-existing remains; a shell from an ARC killed during your raid does not qualify. Searchable husks have a breach point.

Where to find First Wave Husks
Start at Old Battleground on Dam Battlegrounds
Head to Old Battleground in the western part of Dam Battlegrounds. Shacknews reports a Baron shell and smaller rusted wrecks in the area, making it a practical first stop. The Baron’s breach point is on its central chassis. Shacknews’ Old Battleground guide describes the location.
Other reported hotspots
Insider Gaming lists additional POIs on two maps:
- Spaceport: Water Tower and Vehicle Maintenance.
- The Blue Gate: Barren Clearing, Adorned Wreckage, and Broken Earth/Ridgeline.
The guide also reports husks on Dam Battlegrounds, The Blue Gate, Spaceport, and Buried City, with Stella Montis as the exception. These are guide-reported locations, not assurances that a husk will appear in every raid or remain in the same place after a game update. See Insider Gaming’s location guide.

How map conditions affect the search
Husk Graveyard is reported to increase husk quantity, which can make it a useful condition for this objective. The community wiki also says some husks in this condition may be electrified when breached, releasing a shock burst. The Husk Graveyard page describes the condition and hazard.
Insider Gaming also reports higher husk spawn rates during Electromagnetic Storm. Treat condition-based spawn information as a guide rather than a guarantee; the sources do not establish exact current spawn patterns.
How to breach a husk safely
Breaching is necessary to search a husk, but it can trigger hazards.
- Approach the wreck and locate its breach point. On a Baron, climb to the top of its head or central chassis and use the hatch.
- After breaching a Baron, immediately move away. Fire can emit from the wreck; wait for it to subside before returning to loot.
- In Husk Graveyard, account for the possibility of an electrified husk and a shock burst on breach.
Breached husks can yield ARC materials. The Baron fire warning is covered by Insider Gaming; Shacknews also describes breaching and searching the Baron’s central hatch in its Old Battleground guide.

First Wave Husk Trial scoring
The ARC Raiders Wiki’s Search First Wave husks page, last modified August 3, 2026, reports 300 points for each searched First Wave Husk, with milestones at 1,000, 2,000, and 3,000 points. It also records that patch 1.26.0 removed a former 2× bonus for major map conditions. Older guides list different values, so use the live Trial details in your game for the current scoring rules. - Start with the nearest reported hotspot rather than crossing the map for a possible wreck.
- If the active condition is Husk Graveyard, consider searching nearby areas, but be ready for electrified breaches.
- Balance the number of reported POIs along your path against extraction distance and exposure to ARC or other raiders.
