To finish Reduced to Rubble, take the photo at Highway Collapse, travel to Broken Earth, follow the destruction trail northeast and uphill, then investigate the destroyed ARC machine. The Shani quest takes place on The Blue Gate and becomes available after A First Foothold.

1. Take a photo of the Collapsed Highway
Go to Highway Collapse in the southwest of The Blue Gate. Find the west side of the ruin, north of the map label, and interact with the in-game photo prompt. You do not need to bring a separate camera item, according to GameSpot’s walkthrough.

2. Go to Broken Earth
After the photo registers, travel east toward Broken Earth. This completes the second tracker objective.
3. Follow the destruction trail
Continue northeast and uphill through Broken Earth. The reported landmark is a large scrap-metal ring on the hill between Broken Earth and Ridgeline, east of Maintenance Bunker. PC Gamer’s walkthrough identifies this area as the trail’s endpoint.
4. Investigate the unknown ARC machines
At the end of the trail, interact with the destroyed ARC machine. The objective should register and complete the quest. PC Gamer reports that extraction is not necessary after this interaction; treat that as guide-reported behavior, not an official guarantee.
Route and safety notes
The route crosses open ground and a populated area, so keep an eye out for ARC patrols and other raiders. A walkthrough suggests using a free loadout if you are unfamiliar with Blue Gate, but that is a safety suggestion rather than a quest requirement.
