Disable switch 1 on the nearby rise
Look for a small hill or rise overlooking the EMP trap. One guide places the first switch there.

Reach switch 2 by the generator
Search around the nearby generator or industrial structure. A walkthrough describes climbing onto the generator and crossing a wall or ledge to reach this switch.

Follow the cable to switch 3
Trace the cable across the ground toward a broken tree; the third switch is reported beside it.

Return to the EMP trap
Once all three switches are disabled, interact with the trap again to shut it down and finish the quest.
