ARC Raiders costs $19.99 on the US PlayStation Store for PS5, reduced from $39.99. The 50% discount is currently displayed through October 22, 2026, at 06:59 UTC. Deluxe is also half price at $29.99, but the saving only makes sense if its cosmetic extras and 2,400 Raider Tokens matter to you. Because ARC Raiders requires online play and PS Plus for that online play, include the subscription in your total cost.
What the PS5 sale includes
Sony Interactive Entertainment’s US PlayStation Store listing marks both PS5 editions down by 50%. Standard is $19.99 instead of $39.99, while Deluxe is $29.99 instead of $59.99. The $10 difference is the key decision: both editions provide the game, but Deluxe adds digital extras.

When the ARC Raiders discount ends
The US listing displays an end time of October 22, 2026, at 06:59 UTC. That is the cutoff currently shown by the store, not a promise that every regional storefront will use the same timestamp. PlayStation LifeStyle independently described the offer on October 8, 2026, as part of a limited-time Player’s Choice promotion.

Digital promotions can change or disappear when a storefront updates. If you are deciding close to the deadline, check the price and countdown on your own regional PlayStation Store page before paying.
Standard or Deluxe: which one should you buy?
Choose Standard for the lowest-cost way to play
At $19.99, Standard is the straightforward choice if you want the full base experience and do not care about digital cosmetics or premium currency. It also leaves you with $10 to put toward any subscription cost required for online play.

Choose Deluxe if you will use the extras
Deluxe costs $29.99 and adds cosmetic content plus 2,400 Raider Tokens. The listing does not establish a cash value for those tokens, nor does it indicate that Deluxe changes the core gameplay systems. Buy it for the included items, not because the edition is required to access content described for the base game.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches- Best value for a first-time or budget buyer: Standard.
- Best fit for a player who already wants the cosmetics and tokens: Deluxe.
- What the $10 upgrade does not cover: PS Plus; that requirement applies separately to online play.
PS Plus and the online requirement
The PlayStation Store listing states that PS Plus is required for online play and that online play is required. In practical terms, a PS5 owner needs an applicable PS Plus subscription in addition to the game purchase to use ARC Raiders as intended. Account for that recurring cost when comparing the $19.99 Standard price with other games or deciding whether the discount fits your budget.

How ARC Raiders plays
The official overview describes a loop that moves between the surface, controlled by lethal machines, and the underground settlement of Speranza: “In Arc Raiders, gameplay flows between the surface ruled by lethal machines and the vibrant underground society of Speranza.” You craft, repair and upgrade equipment in a workshop, then head topside to scavenge while contending with machines and other survivors.
The game supports solo play or parties of up to three. That means the purchase can work for a lone player, but the required online structure remains relevant even when you are not joining a pre-made group.
PS5-specific features
The PS5 version supports DualSense vibration and trigger effects. Those features are compatibility details rather than a separate edition benefit: both Standard and Deluxe are PS5 products, and the store’s listing identifies the support on the platform page.
What to check before buying
- Open the PlayStation Store page for your region and confirm the current price.
- Check the displayed end time; the October 22, 2026, 06:59 UTC deadline applies to the cited US listing.
- Confirm that your account has the PS Plus access required for online play.
- Compare the two editions. Pay the extra $10 for Deluxe only if its cosmetics and 2,400 Raider Tokens are useful to you.
- Make sure your PS5 storage and internet setup can support an online-only experience before starting the download.
Is ARC Raiders worth $20 on PS5?
For a player interested in its machine-versus-survivor scavenging loop, $19.99 is the lowest-cost entry shown in the US sale and gives access to the same base game as Deluxe. The value is less compelling if you cannot maintain the required PS Plus access, because online play is mandatory. Deluxe is a preference purchase: its $10 premium buys cosmetics and 2,400 Raider Tokens, not a separately established gameplay advantage.
