ARC Raiders’ next Expedition is expected in early 2027, but Embark has not announced an exact date or the rewards for its return. The last Expedition ran from September 8 to September 29, 2026; Embark says it is using the pause to make major changes to the system.
When is the next ARC Raiders Expedition?
Embark has said Expeditions will return in early 2027, but its August 21, 2026 announcement gave no specific start date. The fifth Expedition’s registration window—September 8, 2026 at 11:00 UTC through September 29 at 08:00 UTC—has passed. That was the fifth Expedition, not a date for the next one. Embark’s announcement, “The 5th Expedition”, said it would be the last until the return.

Embark described the return as coming with “major improvements, tackling some of the biggest player pain points.” The studio identified departure windows, reward structure, and accessibility for new players as areas needing larger changes, but did not detail the redesign in that announcement.
What are the next Expedition rewards?
The rewards for the early-2027 Expedition have not been announced in the official return announcement. The fifth Expedition’s rewards are useful context, but Embark has not said they will return unchanged.

Rewards from the fifth Expedition
- The complete Zenith Outfit, which Embark said would be fully unlocked by completing all five Expeditions.
- Mystery rewards.
- An additional 12 stash spaces, subject to a total cap of 60.
- Catch-up skill points for eligible players, subject to a 15-point Expedition bonus cap.
- Consecutive XP, Scrappy-material, and repair-value buffs, each capped at three levels.
For the pause, Embark said earned consecutive buffs would persist. It also said partially completed Caravans would be reset and replaced with Ermal Vouchers of equal value. Those vouchers could be used toward Ermal offers involving ARC Parts and firearms, or sold for Coin.
What changed in the fifth Expedition?
The fifth Expedition had a three-week departure window, extended from the previous two weeks. Signing up during the scheduled window was required: completing a Caravan did not register a player, and there was no last-call feature. Players could complete Caravans between windows, but sign-up and departure still depended on the scheduled window.
Players could choose whether to reset quest progress. Embark said players who kept their quest progress would have other ways to obtain the Hullcracker Blueprint, which had previously been tied to the quest line. The announcement does not say whether these sign-up, reset, or Caravan rules will carry over to the 2027 return.
What earlier Expeditions can—and cannot—tell players
The fourth Expedition ran July 7–21, 2026, and used damage thresholds rather than the earlier Skill Point challenge rewards. Its five thresholds were 5,000, 10,000, 30,000, 50,000, and 100,000 total damage. Each completed departure objective awarded one temporary Blueprint, which reset at the next Expedition, plus 150 permanent Raider Tokens. These were fourth-Expedition rules, not confirmed requirements or rewards for 2027. Embark’s historical announcement is “The Fourth Expedition”.

The difference between the fourth and fifth Expedition rewards is one reason not to assume a previous format will return. Embark has specifically said it is reviewing the reward structure, alongside departure timing and accessibility.

- Whether quest progress resets and how players can obtain affected Blueprints.
- The challenge requirements and which rewards are permanent or temporary.
- Any catch-up rules or accessibility changes for newer players.
Until Embark publishes those details, early 2027 is the only announced timing, and the next reward list remains unknown.
