The next ARC Raiders content update, Frozen Trail, is scheduled for October 8, 2026. Embark Studios’ official announcement calls it an update rather than a numbered season, and it replaces the Raider Deck progression system with Reward Passes. Embark has not announced a date for the major update that follows it.
When Frozen Trail arrives
Embark’s September 28, 2026 Reward Pass announcement says Frozen Trail arrives on October 8, 2026, and the official game site lists the same date. Because this is the scheduled date, confirm the live update in your launcher or on the official site before planning around it, since launch timing can vary by platform and region.
What replaces Raider Decks
Reward Passes are the successor to Raider Decks. Embark describes them as progression tied to the update they release with, so each update now carries its own pass rather than a deck. Frozen Trail launches with two tracks: the Frozen Trail Reward Pass and the Legacy Reward Pass.
Frozen Trail Reward Pass
The Frozen Trail Reward Pass has 60 levels and comes in a free version and a premium version. The table below lists what the announcement says each track contains.

Legacy Reward Pass
The Legacy Reward Pass is a free pass that combines Raider Deck cosmetic rewards and Raider Tokens into one track. Rewards you already claimed under the old deck system stay unlocked. The pass gives you a way to progress toward rewards you missed, so you do not need to have finished a previous deck to take part.
Frozen Trail Collector Set DLC
Embark also announced an in-game Frozen Trail Collector Set DLC. It includes cosmetics, 2,400 Raider Tokens, access to the Frozen Trail Premium Reward Pass, a Retro Sofa for the Raider Outpost, and the blueprint for the Banjo musical instrument. It is purchased inside ARC Raiders, not a physical product.
What happens to Cred and old deck rewards
Embark’s September 8, 2026 live update states that Cred remains usable until October 8, 2026, and that it expires with Frozen Trail. Since that date is the same day as the update, spend Cred now. The update advises spending it with Shani or on remaining Raider Deck rewards. The announcement does not say whether expiry happens at a specific hour, so do not leave Cred for the last day.
Update schedule after Frozen Trail
Embark’s May 13, 2026 official development update explains that its original plan was monthly updates, but that a monthly cycle limited how transformative each update could be. The studio now plans major updates twice a year, with smaller updates possible between them. That gives you a cadence, not a date. Embark has not announced when the major update after Frozen Trail will arrive, so any specific date you see elsewhere is not confirmed by the studio.

Before Frozen Trail: a short checklist
- Spend remaining Cred with Shani or on any Raider Deck rewards you still want.
- Check which previously claimed rewards already appear as unlocked, since the Legacy Reward Pass does not reopen them.
- Decide whether the Premium Pass is worth its 1,150 Raider Tokens cost before you commit tokens to other purchases.
- Read the in-game pass screen after launch to confirm the level count, token totals and reward list.
