In the U.S. Xbox Store, the Standard Edition costs $39.99. It launched on October 30, 2025, and a Game Pass subscription by itself does not grant access to the game.
Here’s what each Xbox edition includes, how Game Pass applies, and what you need for console multiplayer.

How much does ARC Raiders cost on Xbox?
The Standard Edition of ARC Raiders costs $39.99 in the U.S. Xbox Store. It includes the base game and is listed as optimized for Xbox Series X|S.

What does the Standard Edition include?
The Standard Edition includes the complete base game, ARC Raiders. The Xbox Store lists it as:
- Xbox Play Anywhere
- Playable on Xbox Series X|S
- Playable on Windows PC through the Xbox ecosystem
- Cloud playable and supported on handheld devices through compatible Xbox services
- Cross-platform multiplayer and cross-platform co-op
Because it is an Xbox Play Anywhere title, buying the digital Xbox version provides access to the Xbox and Windows PC versions through Microsoft’s Xbox ecosystem rather than requiring a second purchase for those two platforms.
Is ARC Raiders included with Xbox Game Pass?
No. Game Pass alone does not include ownership of ARC Raiders. The Xbox Store specifically says: “Cloud playable with Xbox Game Pass Essential, Premium or Ultimate. Game purchase required.”

In practice, you must purchase the game first. A qualifying Game Pass subscription can then provide cloud-play access where supported, but it does not replace the game purchase.
The store page currently uses different subscription labels for different features. Its cloud-play wording names Game Pass Essential, Premium or Ultimate, while its console multiplayer requirement says Game Pass Core or Ultimate. That means it is not accurate to reduce the listing to “any Game Pass plan”; cloud access and console online multiplayer are described separately. Check the current requirements shown for your account and region before subscribing.
What do you need to play online on Xbox?
Buying ARC Raiders is not the only requirement for console online play. The Xbox listing says the game requires an online multiplayer subscription to play on console, naming Game Pass Core or Ultimate as the relevant options, sold separately.

So the basic Xbox console setup is:
- Buy ARC Raiders Standard Edition or Deluxe Edition.
- Have the required console online multiplayer subscription.
- Use an internet connection and an Xbox account that meets the game’s online requirements.
The subscription requirement is separate from the game’s purchase price. Buying the $39.99 Standard Edition does not automatically include console online multiplayer service.
How much is the Deluxe Edition?
The Deluxe Edition’s regular U.S. Xbox Store price is $59.99. It contains the Standard Edition plus the ARC Raiders – Upgrade to Deluxe Edition add-on.
The Xbox Store lists the Deluxe contents as:
- The base game
- The Wanderer Set
- “Valente” Outfit
- “Pathfinder” Backpack
- “Blanket Roll” Backpack Attachment
- Lip Scar Character Cosmetic
- Finger Gun Rapid Fire Emote
- Cowboy Scrappy Body Type and Outfit
- 2,400 Raider Tokens
The Deluxe upgrade is also listed separately at $20.00. Since the Standard Edition is $39.99, buying the two separately comes to the same $59.99 regular price before any discounts or regional adjustments.

What are the 2,400 Raider Tokens worth?
The Deluxe Edition includes 2,400 Raider Tokens. The Xbox Store also lists a standalone 2,400-token pack for $19.99.

Can you play ARC Raiders solo?
Yes. The Xbox description says ARC Raiders can be played solo or in parties of up to three players.

The same store page separately shows Xbox capability metadata for online co-op as “3-21” and online multiplayer as “6-21.” Those figures should not be read as a larger party-size claim: the plain-language description identifies parties of up to three, while the capability entries are platform metadata.
Does ARC Raiders support cross-play?
The Xbox product page lists both cross-platform multiplayer and cross-platform co-op. This supports playing with people on different supported platforms, subject to the game’s account, network and service requirements.
Which edition should you buy?
- Choose Standard Edition if you only want the base game. At $39.99 in the U.S., it is the lower-cost way to play.
- Choose Deluxe Edition if you want the listed cosmetic items and 2,400 Raider Tokens. Its regular U.S. price is $59.99.
- Do not buy Game Pass expecting the game to be included. The Xbox listing says a game purchase is required, even though qualifying plans can support cloud play.
- On Xbox console, budget for online multiplayer service separately. The store lists Game Pass Core or Ultimate for the console multiplayer requirement.
The short answer
ARC Raiders is not a free Xbox game. The U.S. Standard Edition costs $39.99, while the Deluxe Edition costs $59.99 and adds cosmetics plus 2,400 Raider Tokens. It is an Xbox Play Anywhere title with cross-platform multiplayer, but Game Pass does not provide the game without a purchase, and console online play requires a separate qualifying subscription.
