There is no supported fix for Roblox crashing during exploit injection. Roblox prohibits exploiting, cheating, modified clients, and software that changes the game’s behavior. Stop using the injector, remove the unofficial Roblox client and related software, then reinstall Roblox from Roblox.com or your device’s official app store. Continuing to use exploits can lead to account restrictions or deletion, and exploit downloads may contain credential-stealing malware.
What to do first
- Close Roblox and the injector.
- Uninstall the modified Roblox client, injector, scripts, and other exploit-related downloads.
- Remove suspicious browser extensions and off-site downloads.
- Run a full antivirus scan. Restart the device and scan again.
- Change your Roblox password and enable 2-Step Verification with an authenticator app if you entered your credentials into suspicious software or believe the account may be compromised.
- Reinstall Roblox only from the official website or an official app store.
Roblox identifies exploiting and cheating as a violation of its Terms of Use. Do not disable security protections or try another injector to get around the crash.

Reinstall the official client
Windows 10 and Windows 11
- Delete the modified Roblox installation.
- Download and install Roblox from Roblox.com.
- Close other applications before launching Roblox.
- If the warning returns, restart Windows in Safe Mode. If Roblox works there, a background application is interfering; remove the conflicting application.
macOS
On macOS 10.13 Sierra or newer, delete the modified installation and reinstall Roblox from the official Roblox website.

iPhone, iPad, Android, consoles, and Quest
Uninstall the modified app and reinstall the official Roblox app from the relevant official app store.

Fix messages caused by other software
If Roblox says “Roblox has crashed due to incompatible software: <path>”, the path identifies software Roblox considers incompatible. Stop or uninstall that program. Roblox specifically recommends a Windows clean boot to isolate the conflict.

The messages “Roblox was stopped. Please ensure third-party software does not interfere with Roblox” and “Roblox has crashed due to third-party software. Please perform a Windows clean boot” require the same isolation process.
Perform a Windows clean boot
- Press Windows key + R, enter
msconfig, and press Enter. - In System Configuration, open Services.
- Check Hide all Microsoft services, then click Disable all.
- Open Startup and click Open Task Manager.
- Disable all startup items.
- Close Task Manager and System Configuration, then restart Windows.
OBS’s in-game capture feature is specifically unsupported by Roblox and is known to cause issues. If the crash mentions OBS, turn off that capture feature or uninstall OBS temporarily to confirm whether it is the conflict.

Handle common Roblox error messages

| Roblox has timed out. Please restart your client | Restart Roblox. If it persists during normal, non-injected use, contact Roblox Support. |
| Roblox cannot run inside of a virtual machine | Virtual machines and cloud computers are unsupported unless the required GPU-passthrough configuration is available. That requires compatible hardware, virtualization enabled in BIOS/UEFI such as Intel VT-x or AMD-V, and GPU passthrough configured in the VM software. |
| We don’t allow emulators for accounts without place edit access | Use a physical Android or iOS device instead of BlueStacks, NoxPlayer, or another emulator. For testing an experience you own, grant Edit permission in Studio. |
| We don’t allow rooted devices | Return the Android device or iPhone to its official, unmodified state. Roblox does not support rooted Android devices or jailbroken iOS devices. |

Disable Windows debug mode
- Press Windows key + R and enter
msconfig. - Open the Boot tab and select Advanced options.
- Clear Debug.
- Click OK, then Apply and OK.
- Restart Windows.

Repair a normal Roblox installation
If Roblox still crashes after all unofficial software has been removed, troubleshoot it as a regular installation problem rather than an injection problem.

- Restart the computer.
- Clear Roblox’s temporary files. On Windows, press Windows key + R, enter
%localappdata%, and delete the Roblox folder. You can also remove the Cache folder inside%localappdata%Roblox. - Check that your firewall or security software is not blocking Roblox.
- Reinstall Roblox.
- If you see Failed to Load Library, update Windows and your graphics drivers, check whether antivirus software quarantined a DLL, and try switching between the Microsoft Store version and the desktop version from Roblox.com.

Do not test security behavior by injecting an exploit into a live Roblox client. If you need emulator access for an experience you own, grant the account edit permission:
- Open the experience in Roblox Studio.
- Click Collaborate on the right side of the mezzanine bar.
- Add the user or group.
- Grant Edit permission.
- Save the changes.
For a genuine security vulnerability, use Roblox’s HackerOne security program and follow its scope and policy instead of experimenting through live exploit injection.

Contact Roblox Support
Contact Roblox Support if the official client still fails after you have removed unofficial software and isolated third-party interference. Include your username, affected device, help category, exact error message, and a detailed description of what happens during ordinary Roblox use. Explain that you are using the official client; do not continue injecting exploits while troubleshooting.
