The Frozen Trail update, released October 8, 2026, added 22 quests and made quest objectives and completions award XP. The update does not publish a current quest total or name the new quests, so treat older counts and lists as snapshots, not a definitive current roster.
How do quests work in ARC Raiders?
Quests give you goals to pursue during raids. Typical tasks include visiting a named place, locating or delivering an item, interacting with a device, or defeating a specified ARC enemy. The pre-Frozen Trail quest list from PC Gamer illustrates those objective types.

Earlier guides describe accepting quests from traders in Speranza and following active objectives through a quest logbook or the raid HUD. Once a task is complete, you may need to return and turn it in to claim its reward. The October 8 update changed quest-system details, including sorting, so use the current in-game screen as the authority on labels and turn-in steps. Embark’s Frozen Trail 2.0 update notes say that completing quests and quest objectives now grants XP. XP is shown in quest descriptions and when claiming a completed quest. The notes also revise older photo objectives: those named in the update now require taking pictures with the new camera.

Do ARC Raiders quests need to be completed in order?
Not all quest progression is linear. A September 2026 guide describes being able to work on quests from several traders at once, while some later tasks in a particular trader’s chain require earlier quests to be completed. Because that guide predates Frozen Trail, check current prerequisites in-game rather than assuming every chain or trader roster is unchanged.
The September guide names five quest-giving traders—Shani, Celeste, Tian Wen, Apollo, and Lance—but this is a pre-update roster, not a verified current list. The guide also describes overlapping quest availability and chain prerequisites.

What do ARC Raiders quests reward?
Older quest guides list materials, coins, equipment or cosmetic gear, and blueprints among possible rewards. The reward varies by quest; read the current quest description to see what a specific task pays out. Do not assume every quest offers every reward type.

How should you choose which quest to pursue?
Use the quest descriptions to compare what you need to do and where you need to go. A practical way to plan is to favor quests whose locations or tasks overlap on the same raid route, while checking prerequisites and weighing the risk of the required area. This is a planning approach, not a guarantee that a particular route is safest or most efficient.
- Reward: Check whether the listed payout—especially a blueprint or useful item—is worth prioritizing for your goals.
- Objective: Consider whether the quest calls for travel, delivery, interaction, or combat, and what that means for your raid plan.
- Route overlap: Group active objectives that can reasonably be handled on the same map run.
- Prerequisites: Confirm that you have completed any earlier task in the same trader’s chain.
- Raid risk: Factor in the location and the extra exposure or detour the objective may require.
A September 2026 guide also recommends stacking objectives and prioritizing blueprint rewards; treat that as a useful route-planning idea rather than a guaranteed best strategy after Frozen Trail. See its quest guidance.

How are quests different from the Reward Pass?
Quests and the Reward Pass are separate progression systems. Quests award XP for objectives and completions under Frozen Trail; the pass advances through Reward Points and Feats. Embark’s Reward Pass announcement describes two passes for Frozen Trail: the Frozen Trail Reward Pass and the Legacy Reward Pass, which contains Raider Deck rewards.
