The event has passed. Embark’s announcement confirmed the dates, but did not say a countdown timer was how they were confirmed.
When did the second Expedition start?
In an announcement published February 5, 2026, Embark said sign-up would begin February 25 and departure would take place March 1. Those are separate milestones: February 25 was the start of sign-up, while March 1 was the scheduled departure. The studio said players would set out again with a new Raider and additional buffs and bonuses. Read Embark’s second-Expedition announcement.
What Stash value was needed for the maximum Skill Points?
Embark lowered the requirement for all five available Skill Points to 3 million Coins in Stash value—equivalent to 600,000 Coins per point. This was the threshold for earning the five new points through the second Expedition’s preparation requirements.
Catch-up points from the first Expedition
Players who had missed Skill Points from the first Expedition could also earn those at 300,000 Stash value per missing point. Embark said Stash value was applied to the second Expedition’s Skill Points first, before it counted toward any missing first-Expedition points. The two rates therefore served different purposes: 600,000 Coins per point toward the five new points, and 300,000 Stash value per missing earlier point.

What progression carried over?
Embark said previously earned permanent bonuses would remain even if a player did not depart again. Consecutive buffs, however, depended on continuing to depart. The studio also said these categories would not be affected:
- Cosmetics
- Raider Deck progress
- Unlocked map regions
- Leaderboard position and Trials
- Codex entries
- Raider Tokens
What happened after the second Expedition?
The second Expedition was part of a recurring progression system, but the later schedule changed. In its June 25, 2026 announcement for Expedition 4, Embark said sign-up had to be completed during the scheduled window; completing the Caravan alone did not sign a player up. That is useful context for the later event, not proof of the exact sign-up mechanics for Expedition 2. See Embark’s Expedition 4 announcement.

On August 21, 2026, Embark announced that Expedition 5 would run from September 8 to September 29, 2026, and that it would be the last Expedition until early 2027. The studio said Expeditions would pause while it worked on major improvements; the announcement did not give a precise return date. Read Embark’s Expedition 5 announcement.
