To open a Security Locker in ARC Raiders, unlock Security Breach in the Survival skill tree, then interact with the locker. The pre-Frozen Trail skill reference lists a 36-point Survival requirement, a prerequisite of Looter’s Luck or One Raider’s Scraps, and a one-point cost for Security Breach. The perk also lets you search lockers that another Raider has already breached. These are special Security Lockers, not ordinary lockers.
How to unlock Security Breach
- In Speranza, open Raider → Skill Tree → Survival.
- Meet the listed prerequisites: 36 points in Survival and either Looter’s Luck or One Raider’s Scraps.
- Spend one skill point on Security Breach.
- In a raid, interact with a Security Locker to breach and search it. A Raider with the perk can also open one that has already been breached.
These menu labels and requirements come from community-maintained, pre-Frozen Trail skill references. The skill-tree rework was announced for 8 October 2026; its effect on Security Breach and any changed requirements were not established as of 4 October 2026. Check the live tree after the update. What counts as a Security Locker?
Security Breach applies to the special Security Locker container. It does not unlock regular lockers. If you see a perk requirement while interacting, confirm that the target is a Security Locker rather than an ordinary container. The container reference says only Raiders who have unlocked Security Breach can breach and search these lockers. (Arc Raiders Community: Security Locker)
What loot can you get?
Security Lockers can contain ammunition, grenades, gun parts, weapons, and other items. Epic weapons and Complex Gun Parts are described as rare possibilities, not guaranteed drops. The exact loot table and drop odds are unknown; no reliable percentage, average item count, or guaranteed weapon tier is established.

GameSpot’s January 2026 guide describes green or blue guns, ammunition, gun parts, and Mod Components as common expectations, and reports that purple weapons became less frequent after a developer adjustment. Those are guide-level observations, not official drop-rate data or promises about what a locker will contain. There is no universally best choice. Security Breach gives access to a specific container type, so it may suit players who often route through Security Lockers and want the chance at their contents. The available references do not establish a guaranteed return or precise loot value.

It is also a deep Survival-tree investment: meeting the listed 36-point branch requirement and prerequisite can delay other skills. Players focused on mobility or combat may prefer to spend points elsewhere first. Since the skill tree was due for a rework on 8 October 2026, treat the pre-update route as time-sensitive rather than assuming it remains current.
