When was the ARC Raiders Server Slam?
Embark Studios scheduled the Server Slam for October 17–19, 2025. The dates appear in Embark’s producer welcome post and event-details post, as well as an Xbox Wire announcement.

Was the playtest free, and how did access work?
Yes. Embark described the test as free and open, with no sign-up or access code required. Players could download the event version when it began on a supported platform. Embark’s event information also set a minimum participant age of 16; the Epic Games Store listing likewise identifies 16 as the minimum age.

Which platforms were supported?
The event was announced for Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Epic’s listing described its event build as a Windows demo. The official platform and access details are in Embark’s welcome post and event information.
What did the Server Slam include?
Executive Producer Aleksander Grøndal said the test was intended both to stress-test backend and matchmaking stability ahead of launch and to give new players a chance to try ARC Raiders. The limited build featured Dam Battlegrounds and early player progression, rather than the full game. Grøndal wrote that the team was “saving the majority of our content and features for the official launch on October 30th.”

Embark mentioned possible electromagnetic storms, night raids, and a potential Queen encounter. These were possibilities, not guaranteed events for every participant. The test was a focused preview and infrastructure exercise, not a release of the complete launch feature set.

Was there a Server Slam reward?
Epic Games Store listed an exclusive in-game Server Slam Backpack for participants, delivered after they purchased the full game at launch. It was a digital cosmetic reward, not a physical item; participation in the test itself was free. See the Epic Games Store event listing for its reward terms.

Is the ARC Raiders Server Slam still available?
No. The Server Slam was a one-time pre-launch test in October 2025. A separate free-play offer was reported for October 8–12, 2026, alongside the Frozen Trail update. GamesRadar described that offer as a four-day trial of the full game, not a Server Slam; its report is available here. Because that was a short-lived offer, check Embark’s current announcements for its status rather than assuming it remains open.
