ARC Raiders’ Server Slam drew more than 185,000 concurrent players on Steam in an opening-day snapshot reported by PC Gamer and attributed to SteamDB. That is close to 200,000 on Steam alone—not a verified count across every platform or the event’s final peak.
How many people played ARC Raiders Server Slam on Steam?
PC Gamer reported on October 17, 2025, that SteamDB showed more than 185,000 concurrent ARC Raiders players on Steam during the test’s first day. PC Gamer’s report describes an opening-day snapshot, not an identified final event peak. It supports the “almost 200,000” headline phrasing, but not a claim that the event reached that number on every platform combined.
Was that the total player count across platforms?
No. Embark’s public test ran October 17–19, 2025, on Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The reported 185,000-plus figure covers Steam activity alone; the sources do not establish an exact Server Slam total across all four platforms. Embark’s announcement also said the test was a key step toward the October 30 full launch.
What did Server Slam include?
Embark described the event as a backend and matchmaking stress test ahead of launch, as well as a chance for new players to try the game. It focused on Dam Battlegrounds and initial progression rather than the full feature set, with special conditions including Electromagnetic Storms and Night Raids. Executive Producer Aleksander Grøndal called it “a crucial step as we prepare for our full launch on October 30th.”

That limited scope matters when interpreting the audience figure: it records interest in a timed preview, not eventual sales, long-term retention, or the size of the complete game’s audience.
What did Embark report after the test?
In an October 22 recap, GamesRadar reported figures attributed to Embark: players fired 30 million rounds and collected 816,162 rubber ducks during Server Slam. These are post-event activity totals, distinct from Steam’s concurrent-player snapshot. GamesRadar’s recap also quoted Embark saying it was working to implement fixes and tune the game for launch.

Nexon later reported more than 700,000 concurrent players across all platforms after launch in its Q3 2025 earnings letter. That company-wide launch-era figure is useful context, but it is not a Server Slam count and is not directly comparable to an opening-day Steam-only snapshot.
