Check Embark’s latest announcements before deciding whether the game is down.
How to check whether ARC Raiders is down
- Check Embark first. Visit the ARC Raiders Help Center for current announcements and release notes. It also provides a way to create a support ticket. The Help Center is a support resource, not a live availability dashboard.
- Compare more than one status signal. ArcStatus says it polls Embark servers every 60 seconds and incorporates community reports. That can help reveal symptoms, but neither a monitor nor user reports establish the cause, and a reading can become stale quickly. Look at timestamps, whether reports match your platform and region, and whether multiple independent players describe the same problem.
- Check your platform and symptom. If Embark has not reported an incident, use its technical support category for platform-specific matchmaking or connection guidance. It lists guides related to cache resets, device clocks, UPnP, and public DNS; follow the actual guide for your situation rather than assuming a title alone tells you what to change.
- Contact support if the error persists. Submit a ticket through Embark’s Help Center. Epic’s ARC Raiders support page also directs players to Embark for help.
Why a connection failure does not always mean the game is down
ARC Raiders is an online multiplayer game. Steam describes it as online PvP and co-op and includes broadband internet in the PC minimum requirements. The official game site lists Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and GeForce NOW. A failure to connect could involve Embark’s service, a platform’s services, or a player’s local connection; these sources cannot diagnose an individual connection.
For that reason, treat “Online services are currently unavailable” or a matchmaking failure as a symptom, not proof of a game-wide outage. Before changing network settings or buying hardware, check for an Embark announcement and compare reports from players using the same platform or region.

Embark’s technical support listings include matchmaking and connection troubleshooting for PC and console, alongside related network and device guides. Use the guide that matches your platform and symptom, then submit a ticket if it does not resolve the issue. Epic’s support page also routes ARC Raiders questions to Embark.
No authoritative outage-frequency or downtime statistic is established by the sources cited here. ArcStatus’s 60-second polling interval describes that monitor’s claimed check frequency, not ARC Raiders uptime.
