Use the Spaceport Control Tower Key at a locked ground-floor door inside the tall tower north of Vehicle Maintenance. The door opens access to a zipline; ride it up to reach the loot area. The key is consumed when you unlock the door, so secure it in your Safe Pocket before making the trip.
Where to use the Spaceport Control Tower Key
- Head to the tall Spaceport Control Tower north of Vehicle Maintenance.
- Enter the tower at ground level and check off the main hallway for the locked door. It is an interior door, not a door at the top of the tower.
- Use the key on the locked door, then take the zipline upward to reach the loot area. The room immediately beyond the door is an access point, not the main loot room.
There may be entrances on the south or southwest and north sides of the structure; opening an entrance can make other interior doors accessible, though not every door is necessarily open. See Shacknews’ route description.

Keep the key safe before the unlock
Keys are reportedly lost on death unless they are in the Safe Pocket. Put the key there before continuing through the raid if you want to protect it. Opening the door consumes the key, so it cannot be reused for another entry. These handling details are reported by Arc Raiders AI.
How to get a key
Keys can appear as general container loot across maps. Reported searchable containers include drawers, cabinets, lockers and toolboxes, but no verified drop rates are available. A key is also reported as a reward from Shani’s Lost in Transmission quest, offering an alternative to relying only on random finds.

What the upper area may contain
Reported loot includes drawers, a med case or bag, a Security Breach cabinet, breachable computer cabinets, lootable computers, and loose electronic or mechanical items. These are possible container and loot types, not guaranteed drops or a fixed-value reward. Shacknews and All Things How describe the categories.
Plan for an exposed, contested stop
The tower is described as a high-traffic, exposed location. ARC threats or other Raiders may be near the approach or upper level, and another squad may have reached the loot first; that is a tactical risk, not a certainty in every raid. Decide whether the possible containers justify the time, exposure and chance of a fight before spending a single-use key. Shacknews and LevelUpper note the danger and player traffic.

Use the physical landmark— the tall tower north of Vehicle Maintenance—rather than searching for separate buildings with different labels. The updated guide identifies the in-game item description as Control Tower A6, while community references also call it B6 or Ground Control Tower. Arc Raiders AI says these names point to the same tower; the community wiki reflects the alternate naming.
