The Spaceport Trench Tower Key opens either the North or South Trench Tower on Spaceport, along the east side of The Trench. One key opens one tower; for the Turnabout quest, use it at North Trench Tower. Guides generally recommend South Trench Tower for a loot run, but its contents are not guaranteed.
Where do you use the Spaceport Trench Tower Key?
Use it at the locked entrance to either Trench Tower on Spaceport. The towers are on the east side of The Trench in the northern part of the map. Make sure you are at North or South Trench Tower, not Spaceport Control Tower, Container Storage, or Warehouse.

Once inside, you can open the tower’s other doors from within, according to Shacknews’s tower guide. The key grants access to one tower; it does not unlock both.

No. One key is used to enter one tower. Bring a second Spaceport Trench Tower Key if you want to enter the other tower during the same run. You do not need a separate key for every door inside the tower.

Which Trench Tower is better?

North Tower also has reported loot containers, including a weapon box, valuables lockers, drawers, breachable electronics containers, a med case, and a Security Breach locker. Choose based on your quest, route, and raid conditions rather than assuming one tower will always pay better.
Where does the Spaceport Trench Tower Key spawn?
The key is reported as loose container loot that can appear on any map; it is not limited to Spaceport or the towers. There are no established drop-rate figures or guaranteed spawn points.
ArcRaidersAI’s key guide recommends checking small containers such as desk and bedside drawers, filing cabinets, lockers, and toolboxes. It lists Pale Apartments and Ruby Residence on Dam Battlegrounds, and Grandioso Apartments on Buried City, as reported residential leads. All Things How also cites reports from residential buildings including Pale Apartments and Ruby Residence.
Celeste’s Turnabout quest is another reported source. The community-maintained ARC Raiders Wiki entry lists scavenging and Turnabout among the sources and classifies the key as uncommon, with a stack size of one. Treat those item details as community reference rather than an official specification.

What to expect on the approach
Guides report a Rocketeer patrolling the airspace near the towers, and describe exposed landing platforms and zipline approaches. Other raiders may also contest the area. Check your surroundings before stopping to unlock a door or sort through containers. A tunnel or staircase approach is mentioned as an alternative, but its safety depends on the current raid and your route. See ArcRaidersAI’s approach notes.
