Embark Studios released Update 1.11.0 on 13 January 2026, describing it as the January Update. It rolled out on all platforms; players were instructed to restart their client to download it. Did the Kettle get nerfed?
Yes. Its listed fire rate changed from 600 to 450. Embark said the previous rate was realistically reachable only with macros, creating an unfair dynamic that favored third-party software. What changed with the Trigger ’Nade?
The grenade’s damage became more concentrated near the explosion center, with reduced damage farther away, and its delay increased from 0.7 to 1.5 seconds. Embark said the adjustment was intended to reduce its dominance in PvP and make mid-air timing harder, while keeping the grenade useful when stuck to a target or surface. - Abyss set: The update added the Abyss cosmetic set.
- Key-card exploit: A fix stopped players from retaining room keys after using them.
- Stella Montis Night Raid: Lighting was lowered in some areas, making flashlights and listening more relevant to navigating them.

How the Gilded Pickaxe offer worked
Eligible players who had logged in during the period from launch through 13 January 2026 could pick up the Gilded Pickaxe Raider Tool.
