In ARC Raiders, search fruit trees and Wicker Baskets for lemons and apricots. The most useful locations are Blue Gate’s Olive Grove, Buried City’s gardens between the Library and Town Hall and Marano Park, and Dam Battlegrounds’ South Swamp Outpost. You can eat either fruit for stamina, craft Fruit Mix, feed them to Scrappy, and use them for the current Scrappy III upgrade.
Where to find lemons and apricots
Lemons and apricots are Uncommon Nature items. Look in the following places:

| Map | Best search areas | What to expect |
|---|---|---|
| Blue Gate | Olive Grove | Reliable lemon location. Trees may also produce apricots or olives, although some guides identify the area specifically for lemons. Dexerto lists Olive Grove as “Just Lemons”, while PC Gamer reports other fruit can appear there. |
| Buried City | Gardens between the Library and Town Hall; Marano Park | Fruit trees in both areas can provide lemons and apricots. |
| Dam Battlegrounds | South Swamp Outpost, in the forest west—or left on the map—of the Water Treatment Control building | This area is documented as containing both fruits. |
These locations are supported by current location guides from Dexerto, PC Gamer, and Destructoid. The fruits can also appear in Wicker Baskets, particularly in residential areas and other basket locations.
How to harvest fruit trees
Fruit trees are not guaranteed to produce a fixed amount. A tree can have one to four fruits on the ground, and interacting with it can drop one to three additional fruits.
#1 Best Overall
- Lemon trees: small trees with a thick green crown and thin trunk.
- Apricot trees: small, spindly trees with mixed green and yellow leaves.
If the interaction prompt does not appear, do not assume the tree is empty. Move around it and check from another position; the prompt can fail to appear from one angle. If the Lush Blooms map modifier is active, prioritize Blue Gate, Buried City, or Dam Battlegrounds because it increases the chances of finding lemons, apricots, and other Nature items.
What lemons and apricots do
Eat them for stamina
Each fruit can be consumed directly for 20 stamina with a one-second use time. This makes either item a quick stamina recovery option, but their other uses can make them more valuable than ordinary emergency food.

Craft Fruit Mix
The documented recipe is:
1 Lemon + 1 Apricot + 1 Prickly Pear = 1 Fruit Mix
The recipe requires the In-Round Crafting skill. Fruit Mix restores 25 health and 50 stamina, takes two seconds to use, and cannot be recycled or salvaged. The available item data confirms the skill requirement but does not verify a complete current menu path or the final confirmation-button label, so do not rely on older guides that invent a specific crafting route. See the Fruit Mix item data for the documented recipe and effects.

Scrappy upgrade requirements
For the current item data, Scrappy III requires three Lemons and three Apricots. Older guides that say five of each are outdated.

Requirements can change with updates, so these figures should be read as version-specific current data. The Scrappy page identifies unusual Level 4 reward values as accurate for Update 1.31.0, while the lemon and apricot pages were last modified May 26, 2026. Check the current in-game upgrade screen if your installed version differs.

Feed them through the Food Queue
The current Scrappy system includes a Food Queue with room for up to six items. Feeding is not triggered immediately when you pick up a fruit or while you are in Speranza. Scrappy consumes the next queued food and awards its bonus only after you spend at least six minutes in the round.

Scrappy’s normal collection rewards also require at least one minute in a round. He becomes full after five rounds; collect from him before further accumulation can resume. These timers are separate from the six-minute threshold for processing queued food. The current Scrappy documentation details the Food Queue, Feeding Rewards, and collection limits.

Should you eat, craft, upgrade, or feed them?
- Need immediate stamina? Eat a lemon or apricot for 20 stamina in one second.
- Have a Prickly Pear and the In-Round Crafting skill? Consider Fruit Mix when you need both health and a larger stamina restore.
- Working toward Scrappy III? Keep three lemons and three apricots for the upgrade.
- Scrappy III is complete? Queue spare lemons for Chemicals or apricots for Metal Parts, provided you can remain in the raid for the six-minute processing threshold.
- Trying to reach Scrappy V? Save apricots, but do not reserve lemons for that upgrade; the listed Scrappy V recipe contains no lemons.
Protecting fruit in a Safe Pocket
Lemons and apricots placed in a Safe Pocket are retained after death or a failed extraction. Free loadouts do not include a Safe Pocket, so this protection is only available when your loadout provides one.
