Released on Steam on May 16, 2024, the game makes wrist-driven cooking and physics its central challenge. Here’s what the game offers, what Steam lists for compatibility, and what is known about its soundtrack and merchandise.
What is Arctic Eggs?
Arctic Eggs is an adventure, indie, and simulation game from The Water Museum, cockydoody, abmarnie, and Cameron Ginex, published by CRITICAL REFLEX. Steam lists it as a single-player game. Its store page poses the premise as a question: “Can you cook an egg on top of Mount Everest?” The player takes the role of a Poultry Peddler, cooking for inhabitants with a frying pan. Steam describes realistic physics and puts the challenge in the cooking itself. See the official Steam listing.

How does the cooking work?
The game centers on controlling a pan with wrist-driven movement while cooking food for the people the Poultry Peddler encounters. The physical challenge is the point: the pan and its contents respond to movement, so cooking is presented as an active task rather than a simple menu selection. The available official description establishes this premise, but does not provide a detailed control guide or walkthrough.
Can your computer run Arctic Eggs?
Steam lists minimum requirements for Windows, macOS, and SteamOS/Linux. Its macOS information is internally confusing, so Mac owners should check the live store page rather than treat the listing alone as confirmation that a particular Mac setup is supported. The store marks the game as Steam Deck Verified. The requirements below are Steam’s listed minimums, not independent performance-test results.

Is there an Arctic Eggs soundtrack or merchandise?
Steam offers a digital soundtrack. The developer announced a full soundtrack vinyl on March 20, 2025, and later identified Stumpy Frog and Lost in Cult as outlets for a frying-pan-themed variant, while noting that restock was uncertain. Current vinyl stock and pricing are not established here. The developer also announced a Fangamer collaboration featuring a designer T-shirt and miniature frying-pan keychain, with worldwide and EU/UK routes; current availability and shipping terms may change. Check the developer announcement archive and the relevant retailer for present-day details.
