Build around that sequence: give her a reliable Combo Skill trigger, spend SP on her Battle Skill when Corrosion is present, and choose a weapon for the team’s damage type. The key limitation is that lingering Arts Infliction or Vulnerability stacks can prevent her Combo Skill from triggering.
How Ardelia’s kit shapes her build
Prydwen describes Ardelia as a six-star Nature Arts Unit Supporter. Her combo and Battle Skills work as a setup-and-payoff sequence, rather than as independent sources of damage amplification. Prydwen’s Ardelia guide labels its review Patch 1.0 and its profile update January 21, 2026.
Trigger Corrosion with her Combo Skill
Ardelia’s Combo Skill applies Corrosion to a target and nearby enemies when a controlled operator’s Final Strike hits an enemy with no Arts Infliction or Vulnerability stacks. That condition makes the rest of the team part of her build: allies that leave either kind of stack on the target can make her Combo Skill unavailable until the condition is met again.
Spend SP to convert Corrosion into vulnerability
When Ardelia’s Battle Skill collides with an enemy affected by Corrosion, it consumes Corrosion and applies Arts and Physical Susceptibility. Prydwen lists the effect’s duration as 30 seconds in its Patch 1.0 guide, profile updated January 21, 2026. In practice, aim to use the Battle Skill on a Corroded target so the team gets the damage-amplification payoff.

Account for her healing
After the relevant talent is unlocked, her Battle Skill and Ultimate can generate collectable sheep-shaped “shadows of Mr. Dolly.” Collecting one heals the controlled operator or the teammate with the lowest health percentage, according to Prydwen. This gives Ardelia healing utility alongside her debuff role, but the recovery depends on collecting the generated shadows.
Ardelia’s best weapon depends on the team
There is no single weapon recommendation that applies equally to Arts and Physical teams. The recommendations below are Prydwen’s build assessments, not official equipment guidance.

These are Endfield Hub’s version-sensitive calculations, not universal performance measurements; check the current game and the site’s assumptions before treating them as a ranking. Ardelia gear: healing or more personal damage
Prydwen’s gear comparison centers on a Will-versus-Intellect trade-off. Choose according to whether you want to lean into Ardelia’s healing or add a little to her own damage contribution.

- Tide Fall Light Armor: an alternative that trades some healing for Intellect and a small increase in damage contribution.
These options serve different priorities rather than establishing one best choice for every squad. If Ardelia’s healing is valuable to your team, the Will option aligns with that role; if you prefer a modest personal damage contribution, consider the Intellect alternative.
Ardelia teams: build around her Combo Skill condition
When deciding who works well with Ardelia, first check whether teammates regularly consume or leave Arts Infliction and Vulnerability stacks. A lineup that leaves those stacks on enemies can block the no-stacks condition her Combo Skill requires. A team that clears them reliably can make her Corrosion setup more consistent.

Laevatain as a dated team example
Ardelia can help enable other characters’ interactions by applying Corrosion; Prydwen names Laevatain as an example. PC Gamer’s January 22, 2026 team guide includes Ardelia as a healer and amplifier option in a Laevatain Heat composition, noting that her Nature Infliction gives access to Corrosion. Treat that as an example from a guide published on that date, not a permanent best-team verdict. PC Gamer’s team-composition guide covers that lineup.
Other team suggestions
Endfield Hub most frequently pairs Ardelia with Laevatain and Wulfgard among its three recommended teams. That is the publisher’s current recommendation, not a universal ranking; compare it with your roster, the team’s ability to satisfy Ardelia’s Combo Skill condition, and the current game balance.

- Check the squad’s stack behavior. Prefer teammates and rotations that leave targets free of Arts Infliction and Vulnerability when a controlled operator can land a Final Strike.
- Trigger her Combo Skill. Use that qualifying Final Strike to apply Corrosion to the target and nearby enemies.
- Use her Battle Skill on a Corroded enemy. This consumes Corrosion and applies Arts and Physical Susceptibility; plan SP use around that payoff.
- Match the weapon to the team. Follow Prydwen’s signature recommendation for Arts support or its Stanza of Memorials alternative for Physical support.
- Choose gear for the role you need. Bonekrusha Poncho T1 favors healing through Will; Tide Fall Light Armor shifts toward Intellect and a small damage gain.
Availability and version context
Ardelia’s availability depends on the banner and region. Gryphline’s official notice lists her among the six-star operators that may appear in a particular Chartered Headhunting pool associated with the Homecoming update; the notice’s dates use server time and do not establish current availability in every region. Check the relevant in-game banner and regional notice for present availability. Gryphline’s official update notice is dated August 2026.
Equipment rankings and team recommendations are third-party guide assessments and can change with patches, roster additions, and balance updates. Prydwen’s detailed guide is explicitly a Patch 1.0 review; Endfield Hub’s calculations are likewise version-sensitive.
