What to do if both status pages show online
If EA and your platform report online service, that narrows the checks but does not prove the cause is your home connection. EA recommends checking for outage information through EA Help or @EASFCDirect, confirming platform status, and then following its connection troubleshooting guidance if services are online.
Could maintenance be preventing access?
Yes. Scheduled maintenance can disconnect players or temporarily prevent access to online services. EA’s historical maintenance notice for FC 25, FC 24, and FIFA 23 described those effects and advised players who continued to have launch or connection problems after the work was complete to restart the game fully. - FC 25 service: Check the FC 25 listing on EA’s live status hub.
- Platform service: Check the status page for PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, or Steam, depending on where you play.
- Connection or another issue: If both services show online, use EA’s connection troubleshooting steps. An online status does not identify the cause of an individual connection problem.
